Aria is deep in the closet that she could feel the icy winds of Narnia. She prefers that to the alternative of coming out.
For her, visiting comicons, watching favourite girl ships was an outlet.
Getting into a LARP marriage with a beautiful girl was an indulgence.
Driving the girl home was impulsive.
Now, Aria's carefully crafted world is upside-down.
Her new girl has allure, and, devotion to coax her guarded heart to come out.
Forging a romantic bond with the girl should be easy, right? Except for the scorn from homophobes, and disapproval from her own family and finally, Aria's own mind.
How far could she trust a girl who claims to be an ACTUAL alien and that their LARP marriage to be real?
Threats both local and extra-terrestrial, keep piling up, but a year and a day, and Aria's life should be back to normal. Her new girl should be gone.
Except, Astra intends for more from the adorable human girl. She could never leave the side of her new wife. And she would do anything it takes to make her fall in love with her.

Author Notes:
The story is set in contemporary, present-day world with slight elements of sci-fi, futuristic technology, even those are confined to space opera genre.
This story contains, elements of coming out, homophobia, transphobia, subtle misogyny, every day microagressions and the acceptance of self.
The MC is a dumbass and her struggles are, at times, adorable and at time cringeworthy with an equally baffled and hot roomate/wife. Her fears range from extemely valid to superficial ones. This is the story of an MC who knows what she is but lacks the courage to accept.
There is a transcharacter but the revelation and implication comes late in the story. Hence I have not added a trans-tag, so as to not mislead readers.
This story was a blast to read, the fluff so good, the drama so real (sometimes too real, you could say), the characters felt alive. I'm not good with this kind of thing, so I just going to say, give this story a chance if you're in doubt of doing so. And as a "bonus" coment, Aria trying to keep herself inside the closet and her monologues made oscillate between having a silly grin and giggling to myself in a public space to "I'll throw a f-ing monkey with a wrench onto you so he can smash this clear glass closet that you think is hiding you." Fortunately, Jorge is still safe with by my side.
