Great novel with well written characters and a great actual intelligent antagonist in Alphonse. People call Alex stupid but fail to understand that at the start he's a guy with no common sense or confidence as he was a shut in for years, he has great growth tho and imo he's a great MC, the romance between Alex and fMC is really good well done, the smut is also good.

For those who don't want to read all my complaints, the summary is, the protagonist is a complete idiot and the only reason he didn't end up imprisoned, enslaved or dead is because of plot armor, for those who want to read all my complaints with the story, get ready for a Lot of spoilers.

Let's go at the beginning of the story, it is said that he is a super genius who learns everything just by seeing it once, and what does he do first after being isekaied?? He throws a fireball randomly in the middle of a forest... it's really brilliant he just didn't start a forest fire because the plot armor activated, and a rabbit appeared out of nowhere and threw himself in front of the ball, that was totally stupid, was it? but it's nothing compared to the rest.

Do you know the first thing I would do when encountering civilization... a crime, yes he committed a crime first thing when encountering a city... the situation you ask me is simple, there was a stop at the entrance to the city where guards asked a toll, and he decided to sneak into a carriage to pass and yes he had 100 gold he didn't know the value and he decided to sneak into the carriage for fear of the guards cheating money from him... man at some point you would have to ask someone and yes The person you ask could cheat you instead of taking the risk of asking the guard you decided to commit a crime? What is wrong with you?? And this isn't even the best part, the owner of the carriage noticed him entering and instead of asking the guard for help like a normal human being he let him in... the protagonist's plot armor made this guy another idiot, me I don't know about you, but if a guy broke into my car I would shoot him.

Going further, there is the moment when he is tricked by the slave deller, basically he would give a deposit of 99 gold, he would keep the cat-girl slave and in the future he would pay another 25, 000 gold, that's pretty good, isn't it?? because maybe it's not, he didn't read the details of the contract this future is 3 days and if he doesn't pay he will become a slave... idiot yes but I'll give him a discount due to the fact that he has the breasts debuff (-99% of intelligence).

The next one is fantastic, he decided to try to negotiate the price of potions without understanding the market and ended up picking a fight with the only apothecary in town... it's cool to not have any more potions.

Now let's go to the dugeon, what stupid thing did he do? There were four moments when I said the same thing out loud, so let's divide this part into parts called use your f**king magic, you ret*rd.

The first is in the first encounter with a slime the gat-girl said they are weak against magic and I thought use your fireball he forgets the gat-girl falls he falls together and the only reason they didn't become a slime snack is that the author saying that slime are super slow makes sense but he deserves to be punished for his stupidity of course after he gets up he ends up remembering that yes he can use magic.

The second moment is when he falls into a trap, the floor opens, he falls into a hole and a giant rock comes after him, what I thought, use the item box magic and get rid of the rock, success without any problems, what does he do?? he throws himself on the ground and starts crying like a little girl... the cat-girl holds the stone, detonates her arms and he remembers that he can use another magic to destroy material and opens a hole in the stone for them both to survive.... and they kiss... like he did something to make her like him like what?? This guy has been doing nothing but sh*t since you two met... a moment ago he threw himself on the ground and started kicking like a baby and you like him??? WTF.

And a little more plot armor after leaving the trap he finds a ring with a value of 30, 000 gold... are you telling me that none of the millions of adventurers who passed through the 1st floor of this dugeon did not find this secret passage?? OK, so let's say that no one found the passage, a ring worth so much gold appears on the 1st floor?? Dude, the value of things in this world starts with bronze, goes to silver and then comes gold and 30, 000 items are dropping on the first floor, what kind of economic sh*t is this??

Let's go 3 during the fight with the boss, a giant wolf I went through each line asking myself where is the fireball?? But no, he was just hanging around the whole fight and that's not the worst part, the worst part is that the cat-girl broke one of the wolf's back legs, so the wolf went into rage mode and focused completely on killing her, and our genius protagonist had a perfect chance of doing a fatal attack, the boss lost focus on him and had his back turned to him, my first reaction was to lunge and impale the boss for fatal damage, maybe a more reserved guy would focus on the back leg that still works to stop the boss's movement, but what does our genius do?? he attacks the broken leg... dude are you at least trying to help?? What do you hope to accomplish by attacking a leg that doesn't work? the coolest thing is that in the end the gat-girl was hurt by his stupidity and after he gave her a potion she was moved... f**k you, what a sh*tty plot this is. (PS: after curing the gat-girl he remembers yes he can use magic).

One detail after the fight is that her level doesn't make sense, she said she went to the 3rd floor and was only level 3 but in 1 hour exploring the 1st floor with the protagonist she is level 6 and it was already seen by the protagonist that the ability plus exp doesn't affect her so she should be at a much higher level than she was at the beginning.

And lastly, 4, after the fights, he didn't know how to get out of the dugeon, I said straight away, use the dimensional portal magic, I had to wait about 10 paragraphs for him to remember that yes, he can use magic.

Man, this dugeon was a hell of a sh*t party... and you know what's worse... after all that he still has the courage to say that he's a genius and that the dugeon will be easy...

giving it a 5 because it's a well written novel that deserves to be read and absolutely does not deserve a 1 star review. No complaints about grammar or spelling and the world building is pretty well done. And addressing the guy that complained about all the mistakes the MC does. Yes he does a lot of things that you might consider dumb in hindsight, but at the end of the day he has little to no common sense and he's in a world that he basically considers a game, sub consciously he's not treating the people like people but instead like npcs. The MC experiences growth as a person throughout volume 1 and I believe people should be more patient to see how the character changes instead of being quick to say "MC dumb bad novel"

First beware that this is a pretty slow paced story. Also at the beggining the MC is pretty ret*rded which leads to quite a few cringe inducing moments. But then something amazing happens, there is actual character development, throughout volume 1 the MC grows (and the heroine too).

Grammar is awesome and the writting tastes delicious.

Characters are the strongest point in the novel. Love the heroine, love the villain (it is rare to find a good villain) and I even love the side characters (even rarer).

The only thing I could nitpick is that there could be more world building and how the world works is a little inconsistent.

All in all, one of the best stories in this page by far, especially if you are looking for plot with smut. Ooh rigth the smut... its good go read it.
