It hit him like a sledgehammer to the chest. He felt betrayed by the fervor of his idol worship – the merchandise, the concerts, the autographs – all seemingly rendered meaningless. In the grip of despair, he hastily packed his bags, climbed into his car, and resolved to end it all. Nothing else mattered to Sullivan at that moment; he craved release from the consuming emotions, yearning for tranquility.

Yet, fate had a different script for the anguished Sullivan. In a deafening crash that seemingly halted time itself, his car collided with a tree, shattering into fragments on impact. His consciousness drifted into obscurity, and at last, he found the elusive peace he had sought.

"W-Wait, that's my… car?"

Disoriented and bewildered, his body continued to ache, but a subtle shift in his perception hinted at change. Taking hesitant steps forward, another grisly sight staggered Sullivan.

"M-My body?" he stammered, his voice quivering, as he beheld his lifeless form pinned to the driver's seat, head smashed into a pulp and every bone and muscle mangled beyond recognition.

"But if I'm there, then what does… What is happening to me?"
