A botched ritual left Tess sharing a body with a demon and an inability to remember much about her past. Reintroduced to the world of Auwra, Tess must perfect her abilities, gather the right gear and learn to pick apart a cosmic terror one god at a time before it swallows their sun.
Join a company of characters as they hone the power of their souls and learn to trust one another in order to battle the threat of Old Gods.

The series has been discontinued, but thank you for such a fun run!
So far, it's been an excellent story. The characters seem to be well-written to have their own little bits of depth and motivation, with odd quirks. From Tess' silly dorky naivette, to Gwen's necessity to maintain her composure, and Joyona's aloof-ness. It's really well done. Especially Ch.32 hit me, as it did a wonderful job at conveying a situation in which case the characters had to struggle with a competition between their feelings and their beliefs, waging an internal war of themselves.
Watching the characters grow, both as friends and on an individual basis, has been more than worth it, and I look forward to seeing where the gang continues to go, and what further secrets get uncovered.

The story starts with our deutoragonist fighting a witch and then f**king up her ritual out of spite under the assumption she is going to die.
After which the broken ritual summons Tess, our amnesiac protagonist who remembers nothing of her past.
Which causes some initial tension between them. Which fades as they make their way to orginazation delaying the end of the world.
The smut is good as well, and the question of how did Tess get here being intresting as well. Especially with the extras she is carrying.

An absolute worthwhile read. The characters are brilliant, well formed unique and interesting. So many stories and things to pick up on and I can't wait to learn more about them. A fully formed world, well written action and lewd scenes. Wholeheartedly recommend this if you've not started yet what are you doing.

It's rare to find a story that mixes smut so well with plot and character, but that's what Elegist has done here. Elegy for a Star is filled with heart and oozing with adventure, with characters that grip you and scenes that have you bursting with excitement. Character in general is my favorite part of this story, with each one having their own unique way of latching onto you and making you care about them, even the side characters which might be given little characterization in a lesser series are compelling additions in Elegy that you can't wait to meet again. I marked it five stars for a reason, so go read it!

It cannot be overstated how much I enjoy this story. It took only ten chapters to convince me to join the Patreon. All the characters are fun, and the setting is very interesting. I celebrate getting lore drops as much as smut chapters. The plot has a nice balance of progression and depth. There is always a feeling of the world being much bigger than we are seeing. The conflicts on large and small scales makes it an exciting read. The last dozen chapters on Patreon (112-124 or so) have been amazing.
Please read this story, I’m begging you.

Let me start by saying this is a very well written novel. The story is interesting, the characters are unique and full of life, the writing is well done with very few grammatical/spelling errors, and the smut is entertaining when it happens.
That said, I have to drop it. This story is missing a tag and it's tragedy. I am not a fan of tragedy and these characters are miserable all over each other pretty much every step of the way.
That being said, it's just not my genre. Overall it really is a good novel and if you enjoy all the listed tags along with a heaping helping of very sad people, this is definitely worth the read.

This is my favorite series on ScribbleHub. It's got vivid characters, with distinct histories and motivations. But they are also flawed, and watching them struggle with themselves and their world to come together to be friends and a team is what drives the story.
It has a rich, complex setting with interesting lore and mysteries. And the stakes feel serious, that the world has real dangers that they have to confront rather than just being a speed bump on the way to the smut. There is a sense of foreboding which at times gives the feeling that the characters are trying to grab moments of happiness while they can in between the intense adventures to save their world - an unusual feeling in this genre.
And there are s*xytimes too! Which are very hot and often heartfelt and/or emotionally complex. It will give you the feels if you give it a chance.
Although EfAS has been discontinued, it is well worth your time to read and enjoy, as an example of what smut-with-story can be.
