In a land of magic and ancient technology, two journeys intertwine and evolve into an odyssey of wonders, horrors, and self-discovery. Catherine was taken in by the temple and raised to be a priestess. But on the day of her initiation into the priesthood, a provoked outburst causes her to lose everything she ever had; her home, her belongings, and her purpose in life. With nothing left to lose, she steals what may be the most profane and cursed item in the world and sets out on the journey she had been dreaming of her whole life, where she witnesses a beautiful, mysterious woman being rescued.
This woman, Azela, is a mystery to herself as well, finding herself in a world she knows nothing about. But Azela knows she has secrets, hidden even from herself. Secrets that they both intend to discover.
