A Side Story to the Nath'aniel Series
The Brotherhood of Mutants has recovered from the betrayal of Baron Bryan Braddock, and has allied with the last Mage alive, and his Citadel. But not all of their members were together with them, so Magneto has sent Exodus to locate and gather their missing members Mystique and Copycat. One he knows how to reach, but the other has disappeared. Can the Knight of the Brotherhood locate both the lost bird and the cat of their team?

This is a side story to A Mage in the Savage Lands, as that book was getting too long in my opinion, so some chapters just got deleted, and this subplot got turned into its own short story. It takes place during the second book of the Nath’aniel series so you do not need to have already read that to read this, but it is strongly suggested that you have already read the 1st book in the series, A Mage in Marvel, to understand what has already happened.

Gore is ticked, because my writing takes a more realistic take on what super humans would be like in our world. Strong Language is ticked, because there is some swearing in my writing. And Sexual Content is tick, because a pair of chapters are somewhat edgy, but there is no Erotica in this short story.

Each chapter will between 2300 and 2800 words, while the single Interlude in this book will be shorter (about 1400 words). Unlike the regular entries in the series, this book will not have a prologue (to foreshadow a future event in the story) or an epilogue (to foreshadow the next installment).
