In a dropship that got shot down, an injured android crawls out of the ashes to find himself surrounded by the wreckage and remains of his fallen comrades and squadmates. His underlying will to survive is challenged by his injuries and his logical understanding of his purpose, as he faces the choice between letting himself die or finding the will to live. (That's what I have so far)

Update #1 (6/30/21) - I put quotations around "short-story", as it is a little long. It's probably going to separate into 3 parts (or chapters), and for now, I'm going to put in the first part and see what kind of feedback I get. Hope you guys like it.
