The Great God Zeus Lives! He is not as gracious as billions upon billions thought. Once imprisoned, he has now escaped, and the fate of the Universe lies with him. His treachery will reach the most outer rims of space and the darkest secrets that no one should see are to be revealed. The creatures that were imprisoned, the monsters that were vanquished are returning and not one soul will be safe. Even death will not take away the agony that is about to be unleashed.

An ”unique” group of nine species are the only hope for the Universe. They were led to this hidden galaxy because they were said to be chosen for this purpose. Many would find this “laughable”. The only chance for them of ever being able to face Zeus and the armies that follow him, is to be given power using the technology that Zeus created. The device nicknamed the “Godmaker”, can give these nine species god-like powers, but only if they are able to withstand the pain and anguish that it inflicts. Each of them must relive their worst moments in their life and the stronger the pain the more powerful they become, only if they survive.

After a decade of reconstruction Flammin had gone through to become as powerful as those who destroyed her home, the Relic Queen Nike takes the former living paintbrush to complete the final stages of her training: flying. For a small moment, Flammin had an epiphany of Nike, the divine living trident and mentor who bonded with her throughout the rigors of her transformation into what she is now.

This short story is part of my worldbuilding xenofiction project, World of Relics. This project encompasses a world of living objects and relics that came to rise shortly after the Inversion Event, an event that killed both mortals and their gods, stole their souls, and remade them into living objects. When the Oceania flips and leaves father and daughter stranded in the Atlantic Ocean, they must work together to return to shore, without the buff lifeguard girls running out to rescue them. Teuila has to see past her father's sailing personality and find the one she grew up with, before she and her parents ran aground in the Charleston Harbor.

With the help of the current, love, and just a little bit of imagination, Teuila and her dad's fight for survival becomes nothing more than a mere Disney Channel movie. Not only that, but Teuila learns a secret-the truth behind why she carries such an unusual name.

This is a loose rewrite of the source material. The Arrows' powers are modified for story purposes. All the angels stay the same, but except for Mirai Kakehashi and Kanade Uryu, most of the god candidates will be different, as many of them are no longer from Japan. Some will play familiar roles but with a twist. Saki Hanakago will have some of the biggest changes, since I felt that her character was very weak and generally unlikeable, especially as the main female. Hopefully I did everyone justice! <<less
