Rid Baldia, the son of a margrave, suddenly regains the memories of his past life and realizes that the world he lives in greatly resembles the otome game universe of “Fluttery Cinderella”, or “Flutterella” for short. And it turns out that Rid is a crony bit player that’s supposed to take the side of a villainess. And what’s more, he remembers that the fate awaiting him for partaking in evil deeds is to be purged, exiled, and condemned alongside the villainess.
And so began the days of Rid Baldia employing the memories of his past life to struggle(mow) his way through this utterly completionist otome game world to have a shot at a decent life.
... let's rip the band-aid. English is my fourth learned lenguage and my grammar isn't the best but... dude, this story? It BUTCHERS it. It's confusing as hell, the translation seemed to be done all by google with no real effort put into it. The words She/He always get switched and makes you wonder who is talking at x moment and sometimes the LINES don't make sense from an english point of view.
This novel is more like a dude went into a fantasy realm in which the "Fantasy" is more in the lines of Asian nobles than western. It feels like trying to read a xuanxua novel most of the times and the "Chinese" lines are killing it, nothing against them but MOST of the garbage novels are chinese translation and this lines are inmediatly connected into "gargabe novel" IF there are no cultivator/xuanxua tags or even a warning that it is a chinese translation.
The story is a gramatical nightmare but for a amateur or someone writing as a hobby, its average. The narrative doesn't stray from the main path and the characters always stay on point without any sudden feeling that they changed their behavior.
There are many things that I dislike but will blame the translation on those lines and not the author/writer... but, one single instance in which this novel made me question if it is worth to read was around the first ten or so chapters.
MC gets a teacher who is an adult yet one time he says he was going to change clothing but tries to ignore something he heard his teacher say when walking away and blame it on "maybe I hear wrong"... the teacher, an adult woman said something along the lines of she don't wanting him to clean his sweat or making the innuendo that she likes MC or feels attraction to his body? Weird sh*t, more so because the author give us PICTURES of MC... and it makes me question even more what the hell did I read on that chapter. Because even on normal animes or mangas females that thirst for shota ONLY come on novels in which the MC is a pervert, WANTS to have an harem, or is a "aLpHa mAlE" that hits a woman and suddenly she goes yandere for his babies... repeat this x30 times.

Otome Game Mob Villain is a novel that's not very original but it does a few thing to differentiate from others, it's basically a Slice of life, very slow but definitely progressing. A novel you read to relax a little.
