Kai of the Sorcerer's Tower is one of the last mages left, barely surviving in a world ruled by creatures of the dark — where the era of mages ended, and most of the lands got contaminated with dead mana.
To save his world and fulfil his master's last wish, he put himself through a forbidden ritual, risking his soul being ripped into pieces to make his way into the past. In an era with abundant mana — an era yet to enter the Golden Era of Magic.
Things go wrong, of course, as they always do, and he finds himself thousands of years before the world fell to mana contamination — in the body of a young lord, Arzan. All is not well, though, as the young lord was murdered by someone and he had a beast wave to protect his territory from before moving to larger threats as well trying to get back his former strength in a world where magic techniques and technology is primitive.
He might be able to change that.

(Red this some time ago but came back to it while scrolling)
This novel fails in both the things it promises in the title.
Cultivation - We are told nothing about it just that hes meditating and got a bit stronger and the greater realms, making you feel the lack of progress/ growth.
Kingdom building - World building is so shallow and intentionally empty that you do not know what is happening. There is literally a fight in which we don't know anything just that they are struggling that the MC is doing something and so on. You just can't picture it.
Then there is the worst problem of them all.
OH NO THE SKY IS FALLING!!! Fear not fair maiden in the future we have developed a skill turning gas into a new sky! Lets lose a massive fart! Problem solved.
Oh no we have no money! Worry not loyal knight, in the future we have invented a way to produce gold! Unzips pants and gives a gold shower...
Goals and struggles that could happen are thrown away for a power fantasy by the name of future knowledge that somehow is still so useless that the MC is weak while at the same time being op.

I have finally read enough to provide a decent enough review and rating. The grammar, spelling, etc are all decent. The writing is easy to understand and the authors idea are understood clearly. The overall plot of the story is exactly what you would believe from the summary provided. The characters and their growth vary widely. At times and with each they can be great but at others it is basic. The personalities seem to swap from realistic to very basic for plot and story points. The power/strength growth is so poorly defined and explained, it might as well be left out of the story, just say things can be done and leave it at that... it’s pretty much what is already there. The army building, game elements, litrpg, tags should all just be stripped away. It’s not isekai but time reversal. The descriptions for almost everything can use a little work, world building, fighting, people, etc. characters sometimes just disappear and you wonder where they are and what they are doing even if they are important people and would be involved in events (princess). To many major events are occurring to fast so pace is pretty bad. Slow events down to allow MC to actually grow strength rather than use luck at right time to grow rapidly.

The storyline is good and the speed is not fast, the MC is not OP yet but has a lot of knowledge that somehow helps the plot. The storyline was getting somewhere but was cut short for some reason and jump 10+ chapter without logic...
I stopped at that point because I was not going to continue a story with missing chapters.. hopefully they'll be back and I can give an update..

Not so awesome, nothing impress me. But I recommended for read once, I like how magus things work in this world, and I like how author represents MC (not evil, and not loli) if we give chance for this fantasy world they give some positive vibe. (I hate all woman characters in this novel).
