In the world 'Caistea' everyone is born with a random element, however the most common elements are: earth, water, wind and fire. While these are the most common elements, there are also rare elements such as: light, dark, space and void. There are also rare cases of elements evolving or 'mutating', some may say.

In a forest there was a boy who had been abandoned due to his 'mutated' element and survived a life-threatening attack, the boy looked up into the night sky and then muttered "So, it's the same." The boy picked up his injured body and decided on one thing.

"I'll survive at all costs."
