This story is wonderfully written, with lively characters with status that is not much seen in fiction today, and those that are seen are often side character. It's refreshing to see them put in the spotlight, with massive support from loved ones. This is officially my newest favorite story, and I wish I could put 10 stars in it!

This is a most adorable rewrite of an older version of this story. Things are similar. Supposed boy turns into magical girl and has to deal with a lot of new feelings. The mom is still amazingly understanding and supportive. Nightmarish monsters are still threatening people.

I enjoyed the old story. But this version shows just how much the author has grown and developed her storytelling skills. So much more feels and backgrounds to those feels and snark and... and... Well, it's a great story! Read it!
