After reading a thousand light novels about reincarnation Zhang Xia finds himself in the same situation all those protagonists faced. This story is about a guy being reincarnated into one of the strongest undead in existence. A Nightwalker.
This novel is dropped.
This is probably going to be a long review, but I wanted to give an honest review of this book since I've read this far already. It wouldn't be fair if I didn't read as much of it as I could.
I'll start by saying that this is not my cup of tea. I don't particularly enjoy this book, and it might seem silly coming from me when I've read up to (as of me writing this) the current chapter.
The novel starts with a fairly interesting premise: MC Zhang Xia is killed and is given the option to reincarnate into a species of his choice by a goddess so he can have a second chance at life. Xia chooses the unconventional Nightwalker species and thus kicks off the story.
However, my interest is lost shortly after this. The author makes it very clear that the MC starts as an OP character immediately, and it shows. They wanted this to be a story that defies the normal conventions of an Isekai story, but they end up falling into the same pitfalls as those stories anyway.
The characters all sound and act the same except for maybe the bartender and that bookworm girl that hasn't shown up again after only two or three chapters. Xia expresses glee (or at least feels nothing) at killing so many people when the city of Eden begins to fall, much like his wife Alice expressed glee at killing a group of adventurers who came to Eden, with some pretty justifiable demands in my opinion. Even his daughter, a human-Nightwalker gets in
like in the most recent chapters where he launched a random attack on his home planet because he wanted to start humanity off on a race for immortality as well.
This is just technical critiques for the writing, but the story is rife with run-on sentences and missing punctuation. The author likes to tell and not show, so much is left up to the imagination. It's sometimes hard to follow due to the simplistic writing style (but again this is just a personal preference).
However, just because I didn't like this story doesn't mean other people can't. This rating is based entirely on my opinion; you and the author are welcome to ignore it if you'd like.

A very interesting novel it's not really that much yet tho. Still it's good, funny and isnt boring to read. The grammar is pretty good and the author is cool guy. There is just one thing that annoys me and it's that the author is denying to publish more than one chapter a day. I need more and I will not stand for this.

So to start I love the everyday updates. The story overall for now is very nice sure the MC is overpowered but at least he not a sadistic MC who's killing for no reason he has a actually valid reason for going on murder sprees and has been shown to have a good morals. And the side characters that have been shown so far are likable and aren't really annoying.
It's a good story
also the MC doesn't follow the ways of usual kingdom building stories and he actually makes a very utopian system which is a nice change to the usual

so far a very enjoyable story, not perfect but fun and that is what is important.

Wildly immersive, incredibly unpredictable, and profoundly insane, this novel truly exemplifies a by-the-sea- of-the-pants style of writing. While all of the characters are worthless, all of the lore is designed to be forgotten, and none of the expected plots work, the novel remains a brilliantly written story, if poorly plotted. 10/10 Would read again. Suggested if you enjoy absurdity and the fastest power leveling you can.

Okay I can’t ignore it anymore I need to leave a review, I love this a lot, it gives massive Overlord vibes and scratches that itch I’ve had since finishing Overlord. Overall pretty good if a bit faced paced but it seems to be settling a bit for more world building which I like. Definitely here to stay
