Short synopsis- A seemingly random guy discovers that he has been living in a xianxia world for quite a while now the day he joins a sect and recovers his memories. After fumbling around a bit like an idiot due to his inability to fit in, he starts going crazy and rationalizes everything to be a part of a bad xianxia story. Emboldened by his theory, he finally settles down in the sect and starts his exploration of all the secrets around him (most of which turn out to be insidious as fuck instead of following the cliched routes ) 

What to expect from the story : An MC who will make mistakes and learn from them continuously, slowly becoming a shady scammer. Villains who have serious life goals and grand motives instead of just being an evil asshat. LOTS of morally grey characters instead of general good and bad. Side characters who actually matter and can make an impact to the story without the MC's intervention. Intergalactic Conspiracies. Slowly evolving society instead of generic stagnant ones. Cultivators who actually have an aim to accomplish other than just wanting to be the top dog. A cultivation system where strength isn't the main theme. From ancient xianxia to futuristic sci-fi setting. No harem.
