[A trans fantasy/slow cultivation story with a lot of romance and a dash of smut.] Felix has been cursed by a strange dark liquid, and unfortunately, it’s his own fault. Now he has to find a cure, reveal the dark plot of the newly arrived cursed sorceress, and save the Empire, all before his soul becomes corrupted beyond repair. Luckily, he’s read enough daring adventures that he’s certain the guiding hand of destiny will lead him to victory… Probably. Hopefully before the horns grow in and his body changes into something unrecognizable. First, though, he’s gotta deal with the twists of fate that lead him into being dressed as a girl, and all the feelings swirling within him that it brings boiling to the surface. Feelings she has long been trying to forget.

[This story contains sexual content and is meant only for those who are 18 and older.
This story is my own personal spin on the cultivation fantasy genre (for those who know what that means,) with a trans twist! It's also a cute and somewhat smutty lesbian romance story that starts out a bit slowly but eventually picks up. As a forewarning, this is a trans story, and as mentioned, it does have sexual content. If that's not something you're comfortable with, this story may not be for you. Content Warnings will be posted at the beginning of chapters.
I've been having a ton of fun writing this so far, and I hope you enjoy reading it!]
Another delight from Flitterpuff, excellent use of drama, tension, and Eggy nonsense. So gay, so sweet, so tantalizing, could not recommend highly enough if any of what I've mentioned strikes your fancy <3

If there is any one word for me to describe this story with, it would be glacial. Last time I checked out this story it was at chapter 35 in August of 2022, and the plot has essentially moved nowhere in half a year.
While the beginning felt planned out and the story was moving, it quickly devolved into the standard web novel style that allows you to produce the maximum word count without having to think about where your story is going. It's the spaghetti code of story writing where it's random character interaction after random character interaction stacked on top of each other in a precarious jenga tower of a story with at best one or two sentences worth of plot sprinkled in per chapter as scaffolding to hold each ~3100 word chapter together.
Anyway, it's trans smut that has spent the last half a year trying really hard to pretend it still has a plot which is moving forward. In spite of this, trans women who have spent far too long without touching grass (guilty) will flock to this and will give it the benefit of the doubt. Just know that there are other stories that scratch this same itch and do it better.

This story is like a very special and yummy treat that I reward myself with every week. How does Flitter even do it? The cuteness levels shouldn't be possible in this universe without breaking some kind of natural atmospheric barrier. This is such a character driven story that I keep wanting the plot to slow down and dither more in the cute, tender, sweet, heart-nourishing scenes between characters. Like, please, I would watch the same scene happen multiple times from different perspectives just to get a gleeful little kick out of each recursion. And the trans smut! Omfggggg, I feel like there are actual hearts coming out of my eyes right now. I've never felt more like an emoji chomping a cookie than while reading this story. It has been legit so healing as a trans girl to read this story. I'm sooo attached to these characters!! I could gush endlessly but I will cap it with this: LM did so much to inspire me as a writer! I can't wait for moarrrr /// but I will patiently wait as long as I need to.

I'd like to take a moment to praise this excellent story, because it very much deserves it. I started reading this two or three days ago, shortly after reading the original Succubus Tail, and I quickly found I could do little else but continue to read. Seriously, I did pretty much nothing Wednesday afternoon and evening except read this thing, and I don't regret it for a moment.
I'm in love with all the characters, especially our four principal ones (Pearl, Camilla, Lena and Rosetta). They all feel so vivid and fun to read. As much as I adore Pearl, I never mind dipping into one of the other's POVs (especially Rosetta, what a pleasant surprise). The villains are also excellent, with Silas having just enough menace to make the implications of the most recent chapter (46) really worrying, and the Praevus proving to be one of the most terrifying villains I've encountered in a work of fiction in quite some time.
Also, with no segue: the smut. It's really good. It's really, really good, and is so far up my alley it's embarrassing. Even when the chapters aren't full-blown smut, the s*xiness that pops up fairly often is nearly as enjoyable. This is just a really s*xy story when it wants to be, and I love that aspect of it dearly.
When I caught up here on Scribblehub I immediately subscribed to the author's Patreon so I could read more. It was an excellent decision, not just because I got more of this story, but because she's started rewriting Succubus Tail, and that is already proving to be excellent. I highly recommend that anyone who loves this story and has a few bucks to spare goes and joins her Patreon right this moment. They won't regret it!
In short, thank you FlitterPuff for gracing the internet with this piece of art. It's fantastic, and so are you, for writing it.

Absolutely wonderful, quite the enjoyable read

Through the first few chapters, it's been made painfully clear the MC has no sense of responsibility or caution, for which they compensate with too much curiosity, a too high opinion of their own abilities and delusions of being choosen by fate, the only one who can reveal the secret evil plan of the sorceress... for the existence of which they have no proof other than said delusions. Which obviously endangers not only the MC, but everyone they care about as well.
This does improve over time, though it is understandably a gradual process, and up to the end of the first book the MC keeps some of that recklessness (or just poor judgement), especially under pressure. All the while swinging between tantative accceptance of her new situation, and outright rejection of it because it's not what he believes he is, as well as dealing with the changing relationships, new and old.
Which would be a major reason for my low rating, coupled with how the main antagonist was handled right at the end of the first book, which, wile not surprising at the moment, I personally found grating in a way.

Great story writing but a bit of (what I think is) unnecessary drama, development of characters being slow and really complicated relationships, not really my cup of coffee, but if you like drama and trans stories, this is worth checking out.
BTW The relationship between MC and Lena is sometimes chaotic and almost a torture to read

Thus is a wonderful nivel that I loved all the way through. Writing, characters, setting, and plot are all captivating and both the relationships as well as Pearl's trans journy were wonderful. Thankyou for writing something so amazing and I can't wait to have the chance to read more

Pearl is a goddamn blockhead spitfire rebel of a new girl, and her terrible decision making has you biting your knuckles chapter after chapter as the stakes only ever get harder. Well. That's not the only thing getting harder, wink wonk.
Lunar Marked has some of the best spicy trans smut scenes I've read anywhere- and that really means something to me! The antagonist is a fascinating character who feels really dimensional, and the worldbuilding is a lot of fun.
It's sincerely worth your time to read this one. I can't wait to dive into the rest of Flitter's work. Five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
