OP:Vanguard, short for Operation: Vanguard, is a (planned) series of web novels centred on certain characters of different nations. The story is set in Rethando, a land of modern fantasy riddled with divine politics, beings of many races, and the numerous events linking the two.

'Eclipse' follows events in the life of Shoukuhana no Rize, a shrine maiden from the land of Hitoshi. The title of this subseries is a reference to her title as 'The Shrine Maiden of Eclipse Blossom', and her duty as the sole priestess of the eclipse goddess 'Shoku-kami'.

All subseries are to be written in the first person, while the eventual 'OP:Vanguard' series focused on the titular 'Vanguard' will be written in the third person.
