In the Numia region, in the city of Battle Creek (also known as Tree Town), three friends, Angie, Imoen, and Mina are three friends just starting their Pokemon journey. Angie and Mina are content just having their Pokemon as pets, but Imoen has her eyes set on becoming a Pokemon master. Mina reluctantly helps Imoen become a Pokemon trainer and overcome their annoying rival, Chad. However, things never go as planned and something hiding in the mountains will change their lives forever.
