It breaks the fourth wall, but that is to be expected and hinted in the synopses. This is a school drama with an author who tries not to mess up his own creation. A LitRPG, to be sure. The author, not the MC author, has done an ok job with the style, but there are a couple of paragraphs which should have been merged. The grammar has slip ups, but that is not something that will make one give up on their novel.
The characters are... generic. You have the author, who just want to be peaceful. You have the douchebag that everyone loves, which is the original novel's protagonist. The haughty noble lady FMC. Typical school drama characters.
There is bullying in this, so, if you don't like that, then this novel might not be for you. The MC author tried to shame people in chapter five, for the fact that they are bullies with a pack mentality, but I don't think that he had much success. In a way, he is a victim of his own creation.
