I don't get it... It's not the personnality of certain characters which is changed, but so far, of all the original novel characters from the Baruch family. Seeing how the original story becomes some face slapping below average chineese novel is frustrating and ridiculous. The absence of face slapping is what made the original story a good novel...

The Baruch family is an examplary family model in the original book, and Linley's mother having a pure heart is the main reason for the fundamental plot of the novel. Making her evil and introducing some face slapping is a very poor writting decision. 

This is wrong and a shame! If you've read Coiling Dragon before just don't read this fan fiction.

This was really disappointing to read, this fanfic distorts the orginal story to a level that is not enjoyable to read if you read the orginal.

The plot has changed from the original, I don't have an issue with that but it has been replaced with an inferior plot line.

The authors thought process in planning is what really killed it for me.

As someone who doesn't know anything about Coiling Dragon, I can't really judge how accurate to its lore this fanfiction is. That being said, fanfictions aside I think this book is interesting and I want more.

If a book has you clicking the next chapter the moment you see it, (which is precisely what I just did) it's doing a good job.
