Synopsis

Iteration 001: initializing. Galaxy: reformed. System interface: established. Player Recruitment: In Progress.

Mason the survivalist was always preparing for the end of the world. He just didn’t expect a god-like AI to transform it into a damn video game.

Now he has to pick a ‘class’, survive a ‘tutorial’ (filled with monstrous creatures trying to murder him), and somehow find his brother Blake before the idiot gets himself killed.

OK. Blake’s no idiot. He’s a charming, incredibly lucky, ambitious world-beater. But he was destined for corporate boardrooms, not monster filled forests, and Mason knows he needs to reach him before it’s too late.

But as he claws his way through this new, dangerous world, gaining superhuman abilities and meeting a beautiful woman who desperately needs his help, he begins to realize: it might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to him.

Really enjoying the system POV, and the two characters/brothers. Very s*xy smut. Great writing all around.

I dunno man, has a very... origin-story sort of feel of something much bigger/epic, kind of awesome/exciting. Really hope this lasts for many chapters to come!

Fast Paced, well written. Despite Multiple POVs, which tend to detract from building the right mental images, this keeps my hamster wheel rolling in the right direction.

Satisfies the LitRPG itch.  The Smut is strong with this one and it is good.

Ah additionally, I enjoy what the story is doing with the Druids, better than the current norms.

I don't normally read harem or smut, but I love litrpg. And even if I'm not the biggest fan of the other elements, I actually enjoyed it in this one.

This is a great story, and the prose is good. Give it a shot and enjoy what you read :)

The Great Game lacks nothing. It's got awesome characters, incredible action, a detailed system that throws the kitchen sink at you, and some really well written relationships. The prose is stunning. It's never overwrought, and yet it communicates so much.

I have literally nothing negative to say about this story. It just grabs you and continues onward at 200 miles per hour. In a surprising twist, you have two MCs in a LitRPG, and you get to watch both of them grow. They both have their own challenges to overcome, and they both make interesting decisions about how to optimize their builds.

The harem aspects of the story are also excellent. The relationships feel believable, which is not something I can really say about any other harem story. They progress in interesting ways. The naughty scenes are also written really well, which is also a rarity in the genre.

The side characters are also really interesting. In some ways, they remind me of the side characters from Primal Hunter. Both are post-apocalyptic LitRPGs, so that makes sense. Both stories take average office workers and add a system and stakes on top, with a ton of survival elements to boot.

Read this story if you like LitRPGs, harem, post-apocalypse, and just plain old good writing. 5 Stars!
