Synopsis

Being transmigrated was not something Liam thought of as possible, it was fictional, and sadly for him, it became real. Here he was on a beach with an all-familiar implant glowing in his arm. Above him in the sky, a gas giant called Polyphemus and its many moons, of which he was on one, Pandora.

This an Avatar (Jame Cameron) and ARK Survival Evolved fanfic happening in the universe of the former but with the potential of more.
I don't own anything, everything goes to its respective owner.

If this was translated to English I believe it would have potential, both of the original works are some of my favourites so I'm dissapointed to say this is hard to enjoy in its non-translated state. The MC is insufferable any time he opens his mouth and I believe it's mostly due to the lack of translation, some other reviews I've read have mentioned that the MC isn't a pushover which is a blatant lie in its current state which leads me to believe he wasn't intended to be a pushover but instead is portrayed that way by the mistranslation. The narration tells us he's "cool and collected" about his first encounter with the RDA and then that immediately gets inverted and he practically rolls onto his back asking for belly rubs since he's such a good boy.

Everything outside of these issues is actually great, the integration of ark technology and features into the world of Pandora aswell as how he goes about taming creature (even if he stupidly ignores this ability for the most part in favour of arming himself with weapons) are done very well, it's unfortunate that the latter parts of the story are likely to be more focused on his interactions with others when the interactions are sickeningly insufferable in their current state.

This story is f**king amazing. It does a great job at explaining generally the world of avatar as well as making some mechanichs in ark more realistic. Like how your character in ark is a super-human is actually addressed here.  It's those details that make the story for me. As well as the MC not being a pushover who takes everything thrown at him, which often times is more annoying then interesting. Finally, one last thing

      Spoiler

Our MC has f**ked the literal personification of the planet. That is not an exxageration, hes literally dating the planet.

So if even after all I've said, the story doesn't catch your attention. Then I don't know what else I can say

First, it's a very good fanfiction. Our MC is reasonable, he takes up his prima instincts pretty fast, which allows him to survive. After all, the beast must eat. The boon he get's is not so overpowered, since he needs to work for it very hard. The story capitalises on the extensive World building and the cultures of the Navi, which makes it a fun read if you like the movie Avatar. Many things happen till chapter 26 and it's thanks to good writing that the chapters are not convoluted, I withhold a rating for character and storyline since while much happened, I would say that the story is still in prologue.

I will be honest, this is my first review done on this site purely because of the quality of the writing, each chapter feels like something new, and it gets me looking forward to something every single day, so you’re not going to be waiting long for each chapter perfectly sized each.

All of the characters are properly fleshed out and the story doesn’t shy away from portraying its protagonist as what he truly is, it is enrapturing to read and ponder the transformation the MC succumbs to slowly,  affecting both his body and mind on major ways, but better of all is how he remains somewhat human, wholesome, and loving even if it’s in his own monstrous and utterly alien way.

      TLDR: Read this, highly recomended

I advise you to familiarize yourself with this story to anyone who liked the Avatar movie at least a little. An interesting story develops parallel to the plot of the film. But the further they go, the more they intertwine together. Although this interweaving is very slow.  It's fun to read about interactions with the natives of Navi, whether friendly or hostile. Secret communication with Earth scientists is also great. Separately, it is worth mentioning the survival and tamer of local animals. Sometimes the description of survival looks long. In general, a good job for the level of this site. And if you consider the world of the work, there are simply no alternatives.

Good coherent story with a fairly unique setup, but needs heavy editing. Lots of little grammar mistakes, missing words, frequent and unnecessary repetition (mainly in the latter half of the book). All of these could easily be fixed with an editor. Or use something like ChatGPT. Good work overall though.

I would like to say that this a work of art I have never had an interest in the avatar series beyond the visuals and I couldn't invest my time into ark so I basically entered this series blind.

And I was in for a surprise.

The author captures the spirit of the movies and builds upon the plot and the known lore to provide an exciting and believable story that doesn't feel forced.

the protagonist is integrated into the world seemlesly without the need for cliche troupes and the ark parts of the story so far intrigued me into reading arks lore.

This is basically a work of passion and art from a literature perspective and a fan perspective.

I thank the author for his hard work and creative ideas and hope he continues this series with the same quality if not better and wish him luck in future endevours

This is a great story! A Parallel story to the original plot of the Avatar movie, that slowly begins to effect the original plot, a power that while it has insane potential, takes a lot of effort and time to actually get to the good stuff, and an actually sensible protagonist who is careful for good reason! Can’t wait for more.

This story would be an easy 5 stars if it just had an editor or even was just run through an editing software. The characters are great and I like how the author weaves together the Ark aspect with his survival on Pandora. They do a great job of giving the MC a leg-up to survive on Pandora without it being overpowered. I just really, really, really wish they did even the bare minimum of editing because the grammar is just atrocious and really drags you out of the story a lot of the time.
