A man with a lifelong martial arts background, raised in Asia due to his family's profession, moves to the US for education and work. He discovers Historical Medieval Battles through a colleague and becomes deeply passionate about it. He trains hard and becomes skilled enough to represent his country.
During a competition, his armor fails, and he's struck in the head with a two-handed axe, seemingly dying. But is this truly the end?"
This is a GREAT story.
Some might think it's a bit slow going but personally I like that he's taking his time with the story and he doesn't rush through it. Too often do I feel like authors are just pushing to get the story over with so they can go write their next thing.
But not here !!
I'm really looking forward to what our protagonist will see and learn in his travels across this world.
Keep it up author, you're doing great.

Great writing. Good story plot. Everything so far is reasonable and not cringe

This is a fun story, his life and death previously impacting his new life.
Mainly his desire for a non gundam magic armour
Much learning with stepping stones and pebbles along the way.

Pretty nice but short chapters. MC is strong, but he is not the strongest in all, just 1-2 things. Some similar novels are very slow burn (death world commando), but this is a swift burn. Nicely done.

Fun story with an OP MC who still faces challenges. I also enjoyed the isekaied as a newborn approach which is both uncommon and hard to do. It is well done, and the twist used to shorten that phase and truly power up the MC was different and cool.
As mentioned in another review, the pace is slow, but that just lengthens the enjoyment.
