I previously posted this fanfic and am currently rewriting it.

Waking up in the body of Nawaki Senju, a ninja student, I was only one year away from graduating and becoming a genin.
The fact that it had been 3 years since the second ninja war started made the original Nawaki eager to graduate as soon as possible to pursue his big dream: to become Hokage!

because the MC didnt have any knowledge of the naruto universe, the story starts slow. It feels alright for now, but I would have liked the old man to at least know the summary of naruto so he could be better prepared for the ninja world. The hunting zone feels like a decent "system" that helps the MC. Hopefully it continues smoothly. Just hope the hunting zone doesn't force the story to constently revolve around it. I would like more IRL-naruto content and background character development. So far, haven't really had the MC do anything much around town or with the other trainees. The story starts off when minato and tsunade were young, so I expect the future to change ALOT.
