E-Stone

The Energon stone, shortened to E-stone, is a tiny spherical-shaped object with a surface hard as granite. It powers all Transformers within its compartment known as the 'Power module'. It requires refined Energon as fuel, but it can also utilize oil, magma, or other substances befitting to any Transformer.

Author's note: This is my replacement for sparks, as I've grown extremely tired of their use in canon lore. Different interpretations can exist, people.

Home to humanity and the Transformers after previously colonizing millions of years ago. The Autobots and Decepticons fought their final battle here, leaving tons of wreckage for humanity to uncover years later.

Author's note: Most of the story takes place on Earth, so expect flashbacks of the last stand at some point.

Earth Defense Command

The organization dedicated to Earth’s protection founded in 2006 after Cybertronian technology was discovered in 2005.

Due to that Cybertronian technology, the EDC developed mechanoids, bipedal machines designed for multipurpose combat. Three types were soon commissioned.

Drivers: Land types able to work on all terrains. It typically carries a rifle, a shield, and two combat knives. Alternatively can equip a shotgun, LMG, or sniper rifle depending on the pilot. It also has boosting capabilities.

Flyers: Aerial types meant for airborne combat and reconnaissance. Mostly equipped with dual pistols, a rifle, and chainsaw sword. Alternatively can carry two knives like its land counterpart.

Tankers: Heavier types designed for support and combined arms. Its armor is padded for tanking hits, which results in limited mobility. Equipped with rail guns, gatling guns, and smaller backup armaments in case of upclose enemy engagements. Lacks any boosting capabilities. Piloted by crews of four like in tanks.

All three have transformation capabilities.
