When I was younger, I was really into theater, and took a number of acting classes, electives, and summer camps, which invariably had improv lessons. One common "intro to improv" game was known simply as "Yes And" where people took turns adding to a story by agreeing with the previous person and then saying another statement (you'll quickly see how it works and how it got the name if you read the first not-really-a-chapter thing). I, initially by accident, and then on purpose, would often somehow make the line "Yes, and I think that is that the crayola factory on fire" work in a variety of ways.

Now, having given up on being an actor, I've decided to turn those simplistic pseudo-stories into actual short stories, somewhat because I'm bored, and somewhat because I think it'd be good practice as an author. The first will be the original crayola factory on fire story, which is also the shortest by far. <<less
