Unfortunately for him, others had already set their sights on the poor Iksar. Surrounded on all sides by new characters that competed for his attention, Redmaw needed to select his companions carefully. The decisions made by him, and those that surrounded him, could have disastrous ramifications for the entire planet.

This story will follow Redmaw as he travels around Earth and enters portals to obtain items and power. The video games played are REAL games that exist in our world right now. Redmaw starts off in an Everquest portal, but any and all games are possible in the future.

This story will be dark. Humans that are spontaneously granted super-powers are already at high-risk of abuse. Add in the collapse of the government, the lack of clean water, the disappearance of easily accessible food, and the world will quickly delve into barbarism. Like a zombie apocalypse, but with fewer zombies. Players in this world will either be strong, obey the strong, or die. Death is not necessarily an escape either, since Clerics with Revive magic and Necromancers with Raise Dead spells exist now. Many characters will not find an escape from this hell. For some, death will be a luxury that they will never be able to afford.

This story is meant to be interactive. Readers can suggest video games for Redmaw to visit and gain benefits from.
Readers are encouraged to dig deeper into the story to unravel the mystery occurring behind the scenes, but it is NOT required. Not all portals Redmaw enters will be crucial to the story, but some of them are incredibly important for his future. <<less

When the nameless protagonist wakes up in an unknown world without memories being a slave to the Baron, a so called "Adventurer", is the least he expected. He soon finds out that "Adventurers" are players from another world, a "real" world somewhere out there, who have completed the video game that is this otherworld by slaying the final boss. However, the whole playerbase is still stuck in this game which they now have to call their new home. After the death of the great hero Arslan, the Godslayer, they split into two groups: The Heavenly Union in the west, which lives in harmony with the inhabitants of this world, and Carnifex in the east, which sees the NPCs as a means to an end for their ultimate goal.

When the Nameless is the only slave released from captivity he is willing to quest for gold to buy his friends free. He sets out on an adventure which might bring back his memories while at the same time making him the great new hero of this otherworld. Raiding bosses, leveling up and looting gear are all par for the course when uniting the players and NPCs alike to take another shot at killing this world's gods.

Anyway, Michael and Mike, living in the same body, are forced to climb Tartarus (a fancy word for HELL) in order to sort out this entire ordeal. However, climbing the infernal tower isn't as easy as it sounds since demons, minions, monsters, beasts, and any other synonym of those words that you can think of are all waiting for them on each floor to maim them! Which sucks!
