Following 2 amazing chapters of a tormented villain who finally breaks free from his script to get revenge on the one who did it to him, the tone shifts COMPLETELY. The MC basically becomes a different person and the story gets really wholesome out of nowhere. I like my wholesome stories sometimes but it's a really jarring transition and is completely at odds with what came before.

I feel like the author needs to pick a lane and stick to it.

Seems I spoke to soon and this was intentional. There's more too it that's very intriguing!

I love synopsis. I love prologue. And I HATE the rest.

MC after prologue has nothing to do with synopsis or prologue. In prologue he said he is sick of being a puppet, and agreed to live another live only if he'll have control over it. Guess what? He have none.

The first thing he did - he forced himself to do what previous owner of body wants (even though, before he did not have a sh*t about anyone). Then was that thing with his butler, that I can't really understand, because he acted like a fool and complete idiot. Then he was dragged and deceived by his older sister. Then his father and Rose decided, that their marriage will be, no matter what happened. Then Rose was there like some prison guard, while MC's sister just left, without giving a sh*t about him. Then her mother reprimanded him, as if he is at fault, for not having memories. Then his actual mother did the same. Then both of them decided, what arts he will be learning. And all of that in one chapter.

And he did not has any saying in any of those matters, and did not even tried, even though he felt uncomfortable at those moments.

Then his mother almost died, he reacted like he is 12, and genuinely loved her his whole life, despite the fact the it was their first meeting, as he had no memories of her. Then he tried looking books for the poison his mother was poisoned with, but then rose invited him to meal, he refused, and guess what? She just took books from him, and forced him to eat. And he was okay with that. And a few similar moments with her. Also he can read 70-100 pages per minute, but does not, because Rosa is here (Dude, your mother is dying, and you are really emotional about her, and you can help her, but you do not because Rose is sitting there, with you?! That's f**king dumb.). Then some not that intelligent dialogues, then some even less intelligent thought, and finally he realized, he is an idiot (as he doesn't know where Rose's room is), then he meets a maid, think good of her, feels killing inter he never in all of his lives felt, AND GUESS WHAT?

    "Must've been my imagination"

Like, really? A f**king "must've been imagination" sh*t, that is one of the dumbest and unrealisting things that happen only in some games, as an excuse, why their enemy AI needs to leave player alone, because otherwise it wouldn't be interesting to play? You can choose a million different reactions  and you choose the most idiotic, nonsensical one?

Doesn't sound like anything that synopsis or prologue promised. I had really high hopes, believing it to be awesome novel, but instead got novel, with a protagonist, that is exactly like those dumb f**k from Japanese isekai novels for horny teenagers. Only he isekai'd in the world, when no one gives a f**k, and everyone is as strong, as it can get in fantasy novels, while he himself has a regular body.

Even if he accumulated a lot of powers in his previous 999 lives, and killed the goddess of fate in prologue. Now, the only thing he have is a mentality of 12 year old regular Japanese protagonist, turned "hero". And his powers, experience (not system's one, but life experience), knowledge, character and everything else just completely disappered.

All in all, one of the worst novels. And not only is it really bad, it is even worse, because how it first promised awesome story, to then immediately be turned into complete sh*t.

You can feel that the author is very talented in writing just from the first 10 chapters... This novel has potential and I think it will turn into something greet... Can't wait to see how the MC will act from now on.

A really good story. It has some fixing up to do, mainly due to the grammar. Nothing too bad, and an editing spree would fix it right up. The character is great, definitely an anti-hero. A lot of twists so far in these 30 chapters. Really good story, definitely recommend reading.
