Coby was once again forced to go to a college party by his best friend Brook. He hadn't been counting on much happening, he was an anxious nerd after all, but waking up in his friend's bed as a gorgeous girl was pretty damn far out of even his craziest dreams. How will the newly dubbed Eloise deal with college life as a superpowered girl in a world full of heroes. A Kammiverse story.

Best entry story to QuietValerie's expansive Kammiverse. Falling over superbly balances slice of life, superpower shenanigans, queer romance, comedy, drama and conflict.
While this is not QuietValerie's first story set in her Kammiverse setting, as it is so far a stand alone story, it is a great way to start reading the series before moving into the other larger interconnected stories in the setting. 5 Stars!

Falling over is Valerie's finest work. She is an excellent author, and I've loved reading everything that she's written, but Falling Over stands above all the rest. The characters are amazing, the pacing of the story is great, and the conflict is believable. This is truly a story that a person can immerse themselves in, and fell like they're part of what's going on.
So, 10/10 and five stars. Bravo.

This story is absolutely cute and heartbreaking at the same time. It highlights issues many queer people have with their families.
At the same time Elsie and Maddy are super cute and dorky. You can't help but cheer for them!

So good! I found the main character to be extremely relatable before her transition/transformation. Afterwards, her struggle with family, friends, relationships, and university as she fumbles her way through post-emergence confusion was very fun to read, especially with QuietValerie's cute, witty, flustered writing style.
This story is more slice of life compared to QuietValerie's other stories, so there are almost no fight scenes, but that's okay because now, there aren't any cool fights to distract from the cute, cuddly, fluffly scenes.... There are a lot of cute, cuddly, and fluffy scenes...
Also, this story expands on the world building of Kammi Kettu, but both can be read separately without needing to read the other beforehand.

This is one of the earlier works form QuietValerie, this doesn't mean it's bad contrary to popular belief that the oldest novels are worst then a newer ones. Writing in newer works definitely evolved from Falling over but the writing here is already great.
Story is part of a bigger universe, giving mystery and cameos.
Most important is the relationship between main couple and romantic feelings of the protagonist, they're so well done, reader doesn't immediately know who will be a partner of the main character. Which is very nice, creates nice tension. When we get to relationship this is truly spectacular, chemistry is of the chart.
Story is also very relatable apart from fantasy aspects of course for trans people. Many references to trans culture circle.
Lots of skating and lesbians.
10/10
