Started off very happy-go-lucky and quickly accrued a stable of likable characters. Had some sort of "come to steven king" moment and start killing everyone off and making it more and more of a sad sack world.
I don't mind that drama, tragedy and subversion novels exist, but I do think it's fair not to praise deceiving an unwilling audience.

I have had a number of ups and downs reading this series, and definitely appreciate when the author has taken a more serious approach. As I have commented in some of the individual chapters, take away all the NSFW stuff, and this is still an entertaining LitRPG, and far less derivative than a lot of other such novels on this site. With that said, I have to strongly disagree with the author's claim there is no NTR.
The arc that leads up to the chapter "Crossroads", and in particular chapter 260, certainly come across as NTR to me - yuri NTR, sure, but still NTR. Moreover, it was NTR of a particular invidious kind in view of Kozumi and Mizumi's motives as reflected in Robin's realization in chapter 266:
"She then realized that, all of their closeness, their moments of pleasure was their form of seduction, to weaken her guard, and perhaps place a notion of friendship within her mind."
Basically, not only do Kozumi and Mizumi cuckold the MC by repeatedly banging Robin and Chloe, but they do so in a way clearly intended to manipulate Robin and Chloe to act in Kozumi's and Mizumi's interests (and potentially adverse to the best interests of the MC) when they reunite with the MC (and it seemingly works on Chloe).
Unfortunately, I have not really been able to get back into the series because of this development. Admittedly, this is a personal bias, so if this kind of thing doesn't bother you, feel free to ignore.

Tried reading for a bit but can’t take it any longer. Good concept but poor execution. Grammar and spelling is ok, some small errors but still easy to read. &Nbsp;Characters leave much to be desired all around. They are inconsistent and don’t show growth even 90 chapters in. &Nbsp;Main character is kind of an idiotic twat. I won’t get specific so I don’t provide and spoilers. Setting is kind of plain, wouldn’t mind a bit more description for the environment and other physical characteristics. &Nbsp;Story gets 2 stars for the concept and ok grammar.

Writing is ok. Plot starting ok, but got worst as alot of plot holes. Author randomly adds whatever he wants.
Some bullsh*t plot holes:
MC gf survive boss explosion as boss die humans teleport out but MC not cause he half human. Gf suppose to die as prince order to kill all outside dungeon but MC found gf a bandit camp as prisoner. Gf was salve and pass around but no s*x with other males. Author want remove gf and introduce other female, send her off saying gf cannot get stronger partying with MC.
MC going die to golem boss, lv40+ female suddenly appear save him. MC going die to scorpion boss, berserk and kill boss. MC so weak almost lost to boss with only 2 lv higher. Boss drop exactly the weapon MC wants.
MC beta and weak, prince more like a main character.

Author made me a deal I couldn't refuse.
On a more serious note. Stories well paced, not dragging out any particular arc longer than it deserves. No wuxia power scaling, or constant stream of young masters to show off the MC's greatness. Character's are a little shallow, but don't come off as unlikeable as a result.

Well I just binge read up to chapter 430 and can absolutely say that is quite enjoyable.
The quality improves after the first 100 chapters and if the tags don't scare you away it's certainly worth the read. Part of me equates this to a burger meal, maybe not the best but it certainly hits the spot from time to time.
The chapters are relatively small but usually comes in small batches so there's that and the author engages with the comments so far.
I wish the author the best and hopefully we will read more of his.

This story is absolutely amazing and beautiful.
After 583 chapters this story went through a lot of different stages. Any reader can see that the beginning is a project for fun. Writing the start of a fun epic with levels and an MC that is sometimes in over his head.
Yet as soon as the adventures really begin and the world gets bigger and bigger you can see the change of the author and his way of writing. Simple actions and decisions are now done more in character.
The start is slow, then the story truly begins. From travels south in a warpath to traveling the North in search for friends. The reader experiences how the MC Asai grows as a person and in power. Ever so slowly his character goes from that happy go lucky teen to looking at the world in a grey tone.
The stakes of the story are always high and the expectation subversion is amazing.
The R-18 scenes go from wholesome, to R-word, to blurry NTR. But every scene if you take into account the medieval setting makes sense.
I recommend this story to anyone willing to sit down and enjoy a read where the MC slowly grows into a Monster with massive strength.
The only downside is that the story sometimes feels like it has no goal until it's suddenly in your face. But overall a fun read.

I'm really unsure about the mixed reviews. I have really enjoyed this story and think its well written. Its really not easy to have so many different characters show real development. Seems the author decided to close this account sadly, but if they write under another pen name I would really like to read follow up works. Cheers to the good story anyways.
though I do have to agree with a few others, MC is kind of beta. And that rubs me the wrong way personally.

Frankly, as far as I have read, MC is only a person who fits the beta labels. He is a prince. He is supposed to be a side character, but he is the one who takes women away. Frankly, he will be in NTR in the future. Since I don't like the woman sharing, I will leave this series because MC is inadequate and only beta.
