An editor at the prime of her life—and with maybe just a little too much free time—finds herself waking up in one of her favorite RPGs with no clue as to what's going on or how to get back home.

This might be the part where others rejoice over getting whisked away to a world of wizards and magic, but she certainly doesn't think it's anything to celebrate about.

After all, she woke up in the body of a small-time villain with some severe personality issues.

This story is on the top 5 of my favorite novels and also a catalyst for me to start writing my own novel as a pastime. The protagonist is intelligent and always prepared for things that seem out of her league. You can't help but root for MC in her struggle to find her footing in the new world she is transmigrated into. I won't spoil many details since It is best to experience it yourselves but all I can say is that it's one of the best novels I've ever read. That says a lot since I've read a hefty amount of novels as my hobby.

Status: chapter 151 – new partnerships

I've been looking for a villainess novel with no romance for a while I'm glad I finally found it.

This story has good balance between plot development character development and action. And The world building is quite honestly fantastic.

Honestly, I'm kind of surprised how unknown this novel is on this website.

I'm quite confident in recommending this novel. And Read this on Royal Road there's more chapters

Flameruner please make it so the MC can walk on the water in the air I just think it would be cool plus if she can lift an anvil up she should be able to lift her self up at least for a short time.

    Status: chapter 30 – it’s technically not...
    • Story Plot and Premise : 5/5 Uniqueness, originality, and coherence is top notch, clear and engaging premise that hooks me from the start.
    • Story Flow and Pacing : 5/5 The pacing is appropriate, not rushed not slow, so far, no plot holes or inconsistencies found
    • Characters and Character Development : 4/5 Quite low in character development but feels realistic and relatable. FMC is chad, compose and rational that you will love. Not edgy and dense unlike typical troupes you found anywhere.
    • Writing Style : 5/5 Descriptive, engaging and easy to follow narration, though paragraphs tends to be lengthy.
    • World-Building : 5/5 Setting is well-defined and world building is top notch! Constantly daydreaming while reading.
    • Emotional Impact : 5/5 Definitely but don't expect intense emotions.
    • Dialogue : 4/5 Fewer dialogues yet the conversations are natural and believable which doesn't hinders plot progression.
    • Themes and Messages : Definitely 5 star under thought-provoking category.

This ball sheet piece of writing XD is definitely one of the best on this site, at least in my opinion. After reading the synopsis, I expected more intense scenarios, and I'm glad to find that it delivers with some exciting twists to add flavor atleast. It's like a slice of life with a bit of action, perfect for those who don't mind detailed information and unnecessary info dumps. The world-building is top-notch, and the grammar is on par with professional web novelists, deserves to get anime adaptation and I would love to watch it! The FMC and other characters are unique in their own ways, which I really appreciate. I'd give it a 4.5 for the minor issues I mentioned, but considering how beautifully the story flows and goes, I'll round it up to a 5. My only hope is that future chapters will explore more action-packed scenarios to reach its highest potential. Hats off to the author for this outstanding work!

    Status: chapter 22 – 21 questions

Bit of an early review, but I'll be dropping this one. It's just incredibly boring and has nothing going for it. Clearing out a bunch of bad guys is a few lines at best, all the nobles act like pretty average nice people, and the main character has endless amounts of willpower making the personality traits forced on her utterly pointless. One chapter is even dedicated to her asking for some maps, talking about how slow she's growing in power, and then receiving said maps. At some point you think the story is going to go somewhere, but it just doesn't.

I didnt have much hope because I am already diving in questionable quality of novels, yet. I ended up completly confused why this have so low number of readers. Just to notice its relatively new story. It is amazing. And I am shocked to actualy find it somewhat comparable to Shadow Slave my favourite novel. Unexpectedly I dont have idea what would I critique even. I love it and definitely recomend others.

Status: chapter 106 – that which lies buried

Fun story. The protagonist is usurping both the original character's petty schemes and the hero's role, while blundering through the social landscape where her actions are making substantial waves. I like almost all of the characters, which is surprisingly rare. It's an interesting setup where the protagonist is familiar with the system/mechanics behind the scenes but is limited to remembering enough of it to be useful.
