More than 30 stone of muscles and bones, the best of goat, cat, and squirrel (do not underestimate them) merged with a stale soul using outlawed magic; appearing on a battlefield, with more strength and endurance than the centaurs. The next step for the Kwal armies. The signs were clear.
But the capitulation came before she was awaken. And everybody's first thought was 'how cute', by unanimous vote of either children, healers, clerics, or mages. It certainly wasn't because Kiara remembered being pushed in front of a subway train during rush hour and couldn't speak a word. Even with claws out and fangs bared, their scare would last only seconds. Otherwise cute.
Now, she had to find her way to fit into a human society with her unique body. And seize the chances it offers to her.
Little fighting, heavy on medieval slice of life of the semi-human main character. No game elements.

A very relaxing cozy read. Perfect when you don't want more tension. This is not a story of a hero fighting to save the world. This is the story of how a woman makes her way in the world and in a new life, and the opportunities which fall into her lap. If she had a lap. Her new body might not bend that way.
Yes, it needs editing, but I am willing to mostly forgive that. I've read native speaker works which grate my inner Grammer peeve more.
I look forward to where this story leads.

A story idea that could turn out rather fun to read please keep an open mind, without any bias or grand expectations. Try to enjoy it as it's own thing.
However this book will have to go through much editing as it still reads like a first draft. Which it probably is 🤔 but it still carries plenty of potential.
As such we will have to wait and see what becomes of this story in the coming future before giving it a proper review...
I personally, like this story concept, so go find out if you like this story or not.
If you don't like it, leave. If you like it, good for you.
Note to Author: Don't give up, the story needs some work yes, but continue writing. If you don't, how will you improve your writing? 🙃
