The world as we knew suffered a major change, perhaps a complete one, where everything became something more.
The voice gave us a choice, an intricate question with any probable answer.
I, too, followed the norm and selected for myself what I wished the most.
On a whim, without thinking too much, I ended up losing who I once was.
With my body gone, only darkness prevailed.
I felt that would last an eternity, perhaps a price to pay for the sins we committed against the planet.
But all changed when her voice reached out for me.

I must say that for a thirteen-year-old author, this has proven quite a fun read.
From the excellent grammar on the 'edited chapters' to the flow that doesn't break. The amazing use of 'first person' in the first chapters and how it became smoothly intertwined with 'third person' of what Alice (the second MC) sees and feels. The way the characters feel alive and believable is truly great: Alice a tad more than Pandora due to what they become, though I believe that to be on purpose.
In terms of story, I felt like the world got clearly revamped, but more than that, it's built as the users/players take choices and complete quests. This is a step further from the dull novels where you get isekai'ed and join a guild to then go up in ranks by accumulating points on the typical 'adventurer card'.
It's also very interesting how each zone received its share of villagers, which I believe are like your typical NPCs. These have a background history and culture despite the world supposedly being born not even one day ago. It may have something to do with timelines, or simply, this 'godly entity' planned it this way, which is far better than if they were some robotic characters like in MMORPG novels, or even the users themselves cuz then it would be a 'human society' all over again.
Now all that's left is to see how the author will go about the growth of the items, the abilities, and the users based on the novel tags, and of course, the kingdom building.
Overall, I recommend this story and look eagerly at the upcoming chapters. Will change the review score if the quality drops or it becomes inconsistent.

Thank you missy for making my heart twinkle! I was not expecting THAT! And you know exactly what I'm talking about!I usually only read girls love but I took Pandora x Alice's relationship to make up for the lack of my favorite genre. It's a sad, kind, lovely bond they share to the point of making me jealous!Damn it, you little flower. Now I understand why you have dark in the name. Still, I applaud you for the execution of this story, and how it hooked me with a mix of unexpected action and all these litrpg elements, and of course, the bond, which despite being new as they barely met. It's just so... Kyute! Gosh, fangirling. Just take my five stars already! Don't you dare overwork yourself like Alice so I get to experience the finale!
