Gwenevere "Gwen" Vossen-Stone, Second Imperial Princess of the Vossen Empire could not be seen playing with Vincent Redwood, a common child born to a simple soldier. For two years, they played while his father guarded the Palace. Their relationship hidden until one unlucky day. The Imperial Princess of the Empire playing with a commoner? That couldn't happen.

Torn from each other, their lives diverged into different paths. Only reuniting 12 years later in what could only be described as fate. However, while Gwen never forgot her precious friend, Vincent was not what he was before. Gwen vowed to become stronger in order to never have anything taken from her again and to protect her friend once she reunited with him. That day was today.

Come along for the story of the Princess, nicknamed "Prince" for her more masculine and tomboyish nature, and the Mage, often attributed to a doll for his more feminine and androgynous appearance making him quite pretty and beautiful. They are complete opposites in appearance, but their hearts are twinned together in fate. They just don't know it yet.

This, like Fae King's Desperation (another of my stories), is planned to not be as long as Cyber Heart or Love & Obsession, but we'll see how it goes. The romance between the two main characters doesn't happen in the first several chapters. It builds up as they discover that their feelings are more than just friendship. Once they realize it, the romance will go quicker.

There are power struggles and conflict between Gwen and the other Nobles and Royalty, but most are handled quickly due to Gwen's preparation in the last twelve years. If you're not a fan of conflicts being resolved relatively easily, then this story isn't for you. It will focus mainly on the slice of life aspects of the main characters and eventual romance, with a dash of rebellion on the side.
