I was going to give this a tentative 4 star review, but it fell apart.

At first, they posting each tiny bite, with several chapters could just be posted as a single one.

Still though, I was enjoying myself enough to keep reading. I love monster hunter, and I liked what the author was doing for the most part.

I didn't like the injection of Destiny being injected. it felt a bit forced, and overall I think it takes away from the story itself.

Then there was a change. The chapters got longer, but not always better. Certain parts of the story just seem plain... missing.

Breaks in character come along too, and by the time I caught up, I was pretty unhappy with it. The chapters got longer, which is good, but I do suspect heavy use of genAI, but I can't confirm it. I was happier with the story, despite my issues with chapter length, for the first 30 chapters or so, but the quality really jumped off a hill after that. Still though, as someone who has been playing the monster hunter games for over 17 years, I still enjoyed this. It's an okay story, not really a waste of a readers time.

Pretty nice, not a cringe fanfic but something cool, even if at start it's a little amateurish (not a critic, stories starters are generally complex to create perfectly), the smut is not 1st class, but tins good without taking to much. I would like ti read more chapters to give a better review.
