Matthew Coulson's life is choked with anxiety. He's stuck at a job that can barely support him and haunted yearly by the anniversary of the disappearance of Lucas Lynn. Each year, Lucas' mom calls and he is reminded of the wasted chances he had at confessing his love for him. Up until Lucas revealed that she was actually a transgender woman, and that she had been trying to contact aliens to see if they could help her transition faster. The next day Lucas was gone.
Seven years later and Matt is still fumbling with his own identity. His only recourse is using the same communication device he saw Lucas using to vent out his frustrations to the ether. Soon Matt finds himself at the center of an intergalactic conspiracy, and his only hope is Lucas, now Cassandra, the very person he blames for ruining his life.
Author's note: This is a book that I have come to treasure greatly. After failing to find a traditional publisher, I have opted to share it online with the community at large. In the end, I just want someone to read my work and hopefully find a connection they might need.
