This story is a second try from my first, which I have deleted due to spoilers for this one and to make myself feel better. I decided to tackle the story from a different angle and start with the early life of our heroine; plus a little reincarnation thrown in for good measure.

This story uses dice rolls made in the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition system. I do not own D&D. I do however own most of the characters portrayed and the setting, with the exception of the main love-interest which is owned by my wife.

If you are put off by the fact that I am writing this for fun in my spare time or by time skips do us all a favor and don't read.

Christmas depression is a frequent occurrence, and many people suffer from it. The protagonist of this story does too, but they choose a different and somewhat unconventional way to handle the season. When Duke Agarus, a member of the Ars Goetia and demon royalty in Hell, finds himself overwhelmed with the increasing traffic between Hell and Earth, he needs assistance. The only option is an Earth-born who carries the seed of Hell in them, and among the one thousand possible options, only one fulfills the requirements set by Agarus himself, King Bael, Lucifer, and St Peter. And amidst an episode of snowy depression, who could decline such an offer? This is not the conclusive story of the newest member of the Ars Goetia but rather a glimpse into their life between Hell and Earth.

Please keep in mind that this is more of a collection of interconnected short stories, not a traditional novel. The stories are all set in the shared universe of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, but some of the demonic lore is different to fit the plot.

Basically, it was the finale of the main series, so I wanted to wrap things up cleanly. It's sorta got the feel of someone going senile, which is kinda the point. Ambrosia has finished her quest, and thanks to memories from three different lifetimes, she has some seriously disjointed sense of past and present.
