They thought it would be something low-effort, either they didn’t win or they did, and they could also have fun along the way. Uno is a simple card game that even has an elementary-school division. Surely, there isn’t too much strategy involved. Little did they know that there was a lot more to Uno and the competition than it seemed…

This is a story about Uno, where underneath the kid-friendly surface lies a game full of strategy and a game full of cheating, threats, and backdoor deals.

Old and new geopolitical blocs are seeking to dominate the new order beyond Earth and Luna. One such bloc, codenamed the Alliance, recruits Yang Ru to destabilize Mars, in hopes of securing a political and economic foothold on that planet. Yang Ru’s work stokes the flames of civil war on Mars. Two factions emerge, Colonel Valesquez’s 508th Vanguard and Zeyk Duval’s Concerned Citizenry, claiming ownership over the direction of Mars’ uncertain future.

Four regions meant there are also four Godfathers who maintained their own territory. As she was just living her own life, free from the chains of her family's business she encountered a new problem. When she got home from work, an unexpected event had occurred, needing her to accept her reality.

She and her family's presence are needed by the Godfather of an infamous Mafia Family due to someone's mistake. Often to be called by the public as the rulers of the North. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, an international biotechnology organization called Endless Mist Corporation offered just that.

The plan to put an end to Gizgarde's predicaments by building a district able to occupy all of Gizgarde's wrongdoers and people who couldn't afford a living. This district would be called Krieglen.

100 years into the future and the corporation's plan was a success. Gizgarde became a utopia to its inhabitants, but there was still one problem. Krieglen wasn't the same as the rest of the country, criminal activities were widespread during the day and even more at night in the district. Of course the corporation came up with another plan. Genetically modified law enforcers along with a toxic mist that would appear each night would surely do the job, right? 

But of course, this was just a facade. Although the toxic mist did its job, there were activities within the mist that weren't known to the public. Were the enforcers even enforcing laws from the beginning? <<less
