Old and new geopolitical blocs are seeking to dominate the new order beyond Earth and Luna. One such bloc, codenamed the Alliance, recruits Yang Ru to destabilize Mars, in hopes of securing a political and economic foothold on that planet. This is going to be a space adventure story... Wooo~.... At the start, it will be the fresh beginnings of our commander struggling to get funds to survive and the story will work itself up from there. There will be timeskips, there will be mistakes, this is a Grimdark world at times, and at times the story might be slow.

This the first bit of creative writing I did since high school, some 20 years ago.
It's a near-future dystopian story, with definite cyberpunk themes.

In the main city of the desolate former United Kingdom we find Violet, a mechanic who bears scars of the accident that took her Lover from her, along with her ear. Not really coping with the loss she'd become a shadow of her former self, even loosing the feline nature that came with her being OtherKin.
Now years later one of her closest friends has made a breakthrough in body modification that'd help Violet be who she should have been.
