It was an excellent idea to spice up the stagnant shows with nothing else to show. Showing the struggles of a normal person who gained supernatural powers through different means and methods, showing abilities that every human desired but couldn't.

A bait, attracting humans who so desperately wanted it.

I was also the same, A normal person who after getting his hands on these abilities screwed up, big time.

I guess I should throw this out there and it's probably important that I should do so to clearly state my intentions with this story. This is not going to be a happy-go-lucky story all the way through. It will start relatively upbeat, but there are going to be dark parts. There's going to be things that are hard to stomach, things that will make you uncomfortable. If that's not something you like, that's fine. Not every story is for everyone, maybe this one won't be for you.

To allay some questions this story is not designed to be a torture porn sort of fic. But that doesn't mean I will shy away from talking about characters being tortured or abused. I also won't skip through those portions of the story in an attempt to get them done more quickly. These things need to run their course in order for the importance of the circumstances to fully be imparted into the story. If you as a reader need to skip over these moments, that's perfectly fine. I do that myself in certain fics/shows when I start feeling uncomfortable. That's just a natural reaction. Anyway, I've gotten a couple of people who haven't been happy with it, and that's fine. I don't begrudge those people for disliking these parts of the story, I'm just putting this out there so that future readers come in knowing what to expect instead of being unfortunately blind-sided by my nearsightedness on the situation. I definitely should've had a warning up way earlier for people about this.
