Like most typical and cliché youth novels, the plotline revolved around a regular girl attending a school full of the children of the elite and wealthy as well as falling in love with the handsome and troubled male lead.

And what is a school life romance novel without the infamous villainess who would stop at nothing to break the couple up. And me? I was none other than her best friend, her confidant, and most trusted ally. I was the leader of her entourage, her number 1 follower, I was Faye Cotheran.

And at the end of all these types of novels, the villainess and her friends end up in tragedy and despair and their families in ruin.

But wait!

I don’t want to be anyone’s follower, nor do I want to end up with that terrible fate. I will for sure make sure that neither my family, my friends, nor myself end up like that.

I will stop at nothing to ensure that the villainess does not fall in love with the male lead and we will be able to live happy and healthy in the future no matter what!
