Loving the concept most cultivation novels make the MC chasing the DAO removing food (impurities) and other worldly pleasures in search for power. When in mythology it is though understanding and being one with the world around you that you can achieve enlightenment. The fact the MC is so mellow in this series is ground breaking. I can only hope to find more series like this one.

This seemed so chill, I just had to check it out. And I can tell you, it actually is~ (´▽｀) this doesn't seem to be very far in so I can't review much. I'm just putting this here to encourage others to give this story a read.

The MC is a mature, laidback kinda guy who is really enjoying the opportunity to not work himself to death in this life xD. He knows what he wants - which is chilling and having a good time - and he does what he has to do for that, and pretty much nothing more. Smart guy there lmao. And with a cute, sincere shidi that he can treat well spending time with him, he's enjoying this 2nd life of his even more.

There's some interesting stuff happening, and I'm quite looking forward to how things'll develop. It's relaxing, amusing, nice to read and kinda cute~

The chapters vary in length but generally aren't very long. So if you're on the fence, I'd say to just dive in and give this pleasant read a try :).

Very wholesome and lighthearted, and the BL is really subtle so it doesn't disturb non-BL readers. I hope it stays that way when they get into a serious relationship.

Usually cultivation novels bore me because the characters end up passive; the story driving them, not them driving the story; the lack of human morality and the way human lives are disregarded never stuck well with me.

Each chapter would leave you smiling from ear to ear. Very slice of life, sweet, LGBTQ representation, healthy relationships and all in all, the most wholesome story I have read in a long while. A++++++!

The Novel is very refreshing to read.. I love the fact that our MC is carefree and lively.. though he doesnt know the fact that he grows stronger day by day.. thats because he doesnt know much anything about cultivation... and even if he did know.. I dont think he will want to cultivate hard either.. Just as the title says.. Dao of The Salted Fish, Salted Fish means that a person who doesnt want to do anything.. What our MC Prioritizes is Money for now to raise Our ML Sun Fuyu.. Our MC is Still a Child (well not really?) a bit naive, lovable and bright..

This novel is soo underrated, the novel itself has a fluffy and humor in it which makes a person more satisfied enough to read it.. its just that I wish I could've have found this sooner... the novel isnt available in novelupdates or mtl.. thats why I could'nt found it..I found the novel in Chrysanthemum garden that was the only sites!! I found the novel.. it was only chapter 36 in there so when I wanted to read more I couldnt find the RAW so I was dissapointed good thing I found this!!!
