After I died, god asked me, "what do you want to incarnate into?"
I thought about for a good while, "god."
Why wouldn't anyone want to go for the god route?
"Mm, I see. You'll be a strawberry plant," he spoke nonchalantly without even glancing my way.
Before I could protest, he snapped his fingers and here I was, reincarnated as a strawberry plant.
Like, for real? Did I take that joke too far?
Second Tempest Contest
Choice 1) Non-mainstream weapons.
New cover art/page (Aug 02): character is commissioned from Kamenamen on Fiverr.com; background and text is made by author on MediBang Paint Pro.
Schedule: 3+ chapters per week.
The "gore" and "language" warnings are there just in case, better safe than sorry.
Note (Aug 27): MC isn't "bright" and is a bit of a "strange cookie."
Also, in comments, some are saying certain characters are super annoying. This novel isn't for everyone, just a heads up.
*This novel is posted on scribblehub exclusively. If you find it on another site, I didn't post it.*
This story is great and original, the litrpg is well made and the MC isn't a 'good' or 'evil' they're neutral.

if you like something like kumoko-chan, I think this is for you.
story about funny sociopath protagonist become monster in litRPG world. Weak to strong. Unconventional skill progression.
lacking interesting dramas, I know that after protagonist become op. I will get bored and drop this novel. Protagonist's interaction lacking the fluffiest and sh*tty human character make sure of that.
i will stop wasting my time and drop it here.

A rather interesting premise with a good deal of mystery mixed in. Everything does get explained in the end with a satisfyingly and bittersweet ending. For those familiar with "So I'm a Spider, So What?" you will find that it also explores the why and how of the system and has a few other similarities. Starting off more combat focused, the story then moves more to slice of life, and ends with a training montage on crack. To close, while I was unsatisfied with some things in this story, I was rather pleased with the ending that managed to pull together all of the lose threads.
Good Reading,

Strawberry Devil in a Fantasy World is probably going to be one of my favorite things I've read on this site. I like (all but one of) the characters, the story is interesting, the protag doesn't start off overpowered. It does all of the general stuff right. It isn't a groundbreaking masterpiece that will go down in history but it doesn't need to be to be good. And it is good... 99% of the time.
Now I'm going to do the cliche "The good and the bad" thing.
The good:
The protagonist: The protagonist isn't a super genius who can solve all problems and not an idiot who will make you yell at the screen. They are a normal person who wins sometimes and looses others. Well, other than being kinda psychotic. They aren't pure good or evil. More neutral.
The characters: All but one of the characters are enjoyable, if a bit flat. They have distinct personalities and their own place in the story.
The litrpg elements: There aren't paragraph long status screens or super in-depth skill descriptions but everything could still be understood.
The bad:
Chapters 135-148: Stuff happened in these chapters. Nothing important though. If not for like, 2 and a half names, I would recommend entirely skipping these. I would just say to skim them to catch names.
Mera: Mera is the sole character I don't like. Nearly everything I dislike about her is spoilers though so... yeah.
To not delve into, Mera is introduced after being saved by the protagonist. She spends the rest of her screen time (Don't know a better word for it) demanding stuff, begging, or both. And the resolution to her plot line wasn't that satisfying. Its clear the author wanted to get things resolved and as a result her plot got the axe.
All in all, Good story. All hail the strawberry empire!

I don't see a reason to keep reading. Nothing so far has given me a reason to care about the story. Given how the story starts it's understandable that we know nothing about the world so far. So while it gets a pass it just can't hook you into the story.
The MC is a bit wierd and rambly but not remarkable so. He seems a bit hyper and doesn't seem to think much before he acts but that is all I can say about him.
Story? Doesn't exist so far. Maybe survival? But it's hard to argue that the MC does much or is in much danger.
I don't see why the system exist. So far it does nothing besides the occasional evolution. Level only seem to work towards evolution and getting more information in their status but thats about it.
All in all I can't really recommend this story.

An amazing reincarnation story with simple writing. The chaos of the story might deter some people, but I found it absolutely charming. I recommend this story with all my soul!
