Ouroboros

Near perfect syntax, decent smut if a bit saturated with little cooldown to them, but the protagonist is beta and plot is very little. So be warned. It's one of those that could be great if its character develops into a more positive vibe and doesn't wait hundreds of chapters to do so. However that's highly unlikely now. It's very niche taste for those who like femdom. I can't rate it too low, because I know it's smut that's just not for me, but I can't help but feel that it's really niche. Don't expect deep narative driven plot is all. This is basically just porn. That's okay though.

I came looking for smut but after reading a few chapters, I got really hooked into the story and started caring about it more. That isn't to say the smut isn't good, because it is, but in my mind it isn't the star of this novel.

This is a very well written fantasy grounded in modern day reality, with smut elements. It follows a single person, and their down spiral after getting involved with the occult. Without spoiling, the main character acts in a way that you could perceivably see yourself acting when put in down spiral. This does mean he makes suboptimal decisions and bad choices, but they faults that I think most people would make. This provides a far more nuanced interactions than the normal "he is perfect at everything so the problem is immediately solved" you commonly see.

The good:

Writing and grammer are top-notch. Minimal spelling mistakes, and the story flows very well.
The plot naturally flows into itself. There isn't any jarring transitions from one plot point to the next, instead it feels like a natural extension of what the character would do next. Nothing feels forced or contrived.
It's set in modern day Earth, while still having magic/occult. The way the magic occurs is written in a smart way that allows to concievably work in the real-world.

The bad:

Character development, especially of the supporting cast is a bit weak. We don't know much about them other than their relationship to the main character.
