Reading the synopsis and the tags, I was vaguely intrigued but carried relatively low expectations. I was by and large pleasantly surprised however, finding this quite well-written and profound.
The world-building in particular was very interesting, as was the relationship in-between the angels - whether fallen or otherwise.
I was also a great fan of how the shift to Meresin's POV abruptly cast a lot of the previous events into an entirely new light - although at the same time, I am left pondering the consequences of Azazel's actions in the story right before said narrative shift takes place.
Regardless, I did enjoy this story a whole lot more than expected, and would probably read more of it if there was ever a continuation.
The only really negative thing that I can think of at this moment in time is that there are a few minor language mistakes scattered about - usually a missing or misplaced negation, from what I can recall.
