Cherry K. Maple is a name that many know in the world of Fantarsia. She is a cruel, highly skilled, psychopathic tyrant who almost conquered the world. Her name strikes fear in the hearts of many people.

Many don't know how Cherry came to be. However, she does share a similarity with many of the great heroes of the world. She originally was from Earth. Like her fellow reincarnaters, she came to this world by a Goddess's request/demand. However, unlike the other reincarnaters, Cherry was different. Despite her cute and meek appearance, Cherry was on a set path of war and tyranny, stopping the world from advancing in technology and ruthlessly killing any in her way. Her army is known for their wide range of weapons, skill, and the deadly poisons she created, one of them being an acid so strong that it seems only one material can contain it.

But what makes Cherry so different from the other great villains of Fantarsia? Her deceiving appearance? The iconic smiling skeleton face mask she wears? The fact that underneath her mask, her mouth is ruined with nails going through her lips? Her brutal yet graceful fighting style? Or is it her reason for doing what she did?

No one knows but finally, after years of vicious fighting and death, Cherry was killed. Before she died, the Saintess Sella asked her what made her this way. Why is her mindset like this? Cherry's answer and dying words were. "Go and find out for yourself,". Unfortunately, or fortunately, Sella took that literally.

Thinking she can change the carnage Cherry caused, Sella uses a powerful artifact to go back in time and back to Earth to find Cherry. Depending on the situation, Sella decides she'll either kill or try and save Cherry, to prevent her from going down the warpath she went down.

However, Sella, while somewhat hot-headed and vengeful, is not a cold-blooded warrior. Cherry is quite different from how she was when Sella first saw her. But, the question remains. Can Sella really change the future? Can Sella steer Cherry into the right direction? And, if she can't, can she bring herself to kill the girl before she does anything bad?
