Kavi is a spriggankin flora race of tribal beings. They grow to a height of about 4 feet, have a variety of flora features, grow various barkskin masks, and live in swamps and forests. They believe themselves to be the superior spriggankin race and feel that all other spriggankin races should serve them
Ogen Tree Spriggankin – These big lumbering gentle flora giants are shaped like big fluffy abominable snowmen. Their hands up to their elbows and feet up to knees are covered in Barkskin as if wearing armor gauntlets and boots. And wooden masks of forest animals (Bears, Beavers, Owls, and such) adorn their faces. They tend to have branch horns atop their heads and some have flora tails.
Ferrewl Critter Spriggankin are small floral ferrets with feathery leaf bird wings and tail tips. They have big fox bat ears and wooden owl masks cover their faces. (The one Wylla sees in the cage is autumn-colored.)
Kiir Flora Spriggankin – Appear as willowy children wearing long velvety spiln coats covering them from their necks to their feet. The collar, cuff, and bottom of their plant coats are fluffy with feathery spiln. They wear wooden masks of small woodland animals or butterflies. (The one Wylla sees has an off-white bunny mask.)
Felune Aves Spriggankin are tall lanky beings with flamboyant feathery tails and wing-like arms. They have long barkskin legs reminding one of a colorful Ostrich. All Felune have flora antennae atop their heads and wooden bird masks.
Lyren Aria Spriggankin are strange beings that resemble various musical woodwind, string, or percussion instruments. Their spiln fur varies from fluffy to velvety short and everything in-between and sometimes mixed. They also come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. Some have tails and some have horns or flora atop their heads... and some have both. But they all have wooden or flora or a mix of the two masks on their faces.
Osil Critter Spriggankin are the bandit eyed 'ottercoon' flora spriggankin. They have velvety spiln fur and enjoy spending time swimming in lakes and rivers. All Osils have a flower protruding from atop their heads and wear wooden bandit eyed sea otterish masks.
Lemkey Primate Spriggankin are fluffy spider monkey lemur mixed beings with long flora lemur-ish tails and fennec fox ears. They are small, agile, and love tree climbing. All lemkey tails end in big bulb flowers and have cute wooden masks.
Spilk Flora Spriggankin has long lanky limbs, fluffy spiln feathery fur, and spiky hair leaves. Despite their long limbs, they are more on the short side which their hunching doesn't help. They all wear long beak mouthed wooden masks.
Talric Reven Spriggankin are the dark spiln fur underworld looking caw cawing beings. They are of average height with slightly longer arms and talon claw hands. They are quick and blend in with the night. They have long dark elf-like ears, small thorn horns, long dark porcupine spiln quill styled hair, and dark raven wooden masks.
Oroog Primate Spriggankin are shaggy flora orangutang beings with short stumpy legs and long arms. They have a mini flower garden growing on their backs and a globe of water for their tummy. They wear a wooden butterfly mask since they have long trumpet snouts. When they walk on all fours like a gorilla the water globe on their tummy will flow to rest on their back shoulders.
Little Ceri
Flying in the air in front of her, doing loop da loops while cooing and tootling was little Ceri, her Starlyng SnapDragon Familiar!
Ceri spun about in the air, her silvery blue eyes shining like stars as the long whiskers hanging from the ends of the top of her cute draic jaw left ribbony afterimages trailing in the sky.
She had a lionesque mane of chrysanthemums like petals of woven icy blues and silver. The top half of her long serpentine body was covered in long fluffy spiln fur hiding her draic scales beneath a field of midnight hues adorned with beautiful silvery Starlyng patterns.
Soft short velvety spiln fur shone like silvery moon along the bottom of her jaw past her chest, belly, and inner legs to almost the tip of her tail; A tail tipped with a pale moon hued Iris flower.
Yes! She's 100% mofumofu-able! Wylla's happy laughter bubbling in the air was music to Ceri's cute fennec fox-like ears as her two small antennae which looked like ethereal horns twitched about.
Now let's get a better look and see what you can do. Wylla's eyes glowed as she infused them with oryn energy, inspecting the joyful little Ceri.
“Ooh, it looks like you also know Spiln Serpris Camouflage... that's great! It'll be very helpful when scouting and hiding. And what's this? Dreamnisca Spore Breath! That's like the breath attack your father used that night before...” No, let's not think about that.
“This means I now have an AOE spell I can use... well, that you can use but since we're now together forever I'm kind of right,” Wylla said, nodding her head as a happy little Ceri flew right up to her face, rubbed her forehead against Wyllas, and then took off back into the air.
“So cute!” Wylla squealed, clapping her hands and rubbing them together in front of her chest as her eyes continued to inspect her little air dancing snapdragon familiar.
“Oh wow! You learned a Way of spell... Way of the Shadlyng Wytch. So sweet! It says you can shift into a shadowy ghost snapdragon form decreasing your presence while increasing your physical defenses and the power of your jinxes, hexes, and curses! Hmm, I wonder if this means you can also go through walls and other solid objects, that would be so awesome!”
“Looks like Anari was right, you are strong enough to run about in this starter area. Just look at those spells you have:”
[ Starlyng Dance Jinx – Distracts the target with the caster's beautiful movements causing the observer to trip and fall when moving or miss when attacking. ]
[ Lunar SnapDragon Hex – Causes a tattoo-like sigil of the Lunar SnapDragon to appear on the target's body lowering their gravity thereby greatly decreasing their weight for 30 seconds. ]
[ Wynbella Starthorns Curse – Inflicts the target with tattoo-like sigils of icy blue vines filled with star-shaped thorns causing cold piercing damage and slowing the target's movements by 15%. ]
Furbees are soft furry bumblebee like plant beasts. They are a mix of plants and insects with soft silky Spiln Fur.
Spiln is soft silky needle-like plant threads, like a type of grass.

Attacks: Thorn Stinger Piercer, Dive Bomb Bash, Scratch.
Young Swampweed Gator is a plant beast that lives in swampy areas. They are medium-sized beasts with strong tails. They have tough barkskin on their bodies. They attack by ambushing their prey with strong tail strikes and powerful bites, pulling their foes into the water to drown them. The hungrier they are the more aggressive they are.

Serpris are big poisonous plant serpents with a head that looks like an Iris flower.

Briar Bloodrose Witch is a unique Kavi with the ability to cast strong curses and brew strange alchemic potions. She is an albino Kavi woman with evergreen dreadlocks and blood-red eyes. She wears bloodrose inspired tribal witch-like clothes which really do look great her; Giving her that whole wicked beauty vibe. She carries a large book in one hand or in her bag and also has a Briar Bloodrose Staff. She is often found brewing potions in her Briar Bloodrose Cauldron in the round courtyard in front of her hut. Rank 1, Tier 0, Level 0, Stars 4 (elite)
Attacks: Miasma Rosebud Bolt (Range Spell), Briar Bloodrose Curse (Range Spell), Briar Bloodrose Chains (Range Spell), Briar Claw Swipe (Melee), Briar Bloodrose Staff Attack (Melee), Alchemic Potion Toss (Range).
The Eldrytch Gator is a unique Rank 1, Tier 0, Level 0, Stars 4 dark oryn fused gator. Its thick hide reminds one of dark gray storm clouds swirling with deep purple hues. Extending out of its long ridged back are dark wet shadowy tentacles; the smaller ones ending in round eyeballs while the larger one's tips split open into three flap mouths lined with slightly hooked thorn teeth. They attack with teeth, tail strikes, and shadow void tentacle skills... it's best not to stick around these cruel and ornery beasts when freed Wylla.
Briar Bloodrose Ganglyrot is a Rank 1, Tier 0, Level 0, Stars 4 unique elite demi-human spriggankin plant beast. Created by a dark Alchemic Ritual not much is known about this newly created spriggankin demi-human.
From the Story: The back of its head elongated and changed into a bloodrose bud. His wooden mask became feral as the muzzle protruded out a bit and dark thorn fangs grew yet its face still looked oddly cute. With shaky legs, it rose up off the ground onto its root-like feet. Its toned body hunched, long gangly arms ending in dark blood red clawed hands hung down by its thighs, as it looked side to side. Briar bloodrose thorns grew from various parts of its body and limbs. She turned you into some kind of dark thorny plant monster... as if swamp thing and pumpkinhead got together and had a baby.
The Desparu Fruit (also called Paru Fruit) is similar in appearance to plum-colored cherries, has a sweet-sour taste and can cause one to feel a touch of sadness when consumed. Classification: Desparu fruits are Alchemy and Cooking Ingredients.
Peprika Mushrooms grow in clusters with other mushrooms near the base of Desparu Trees. They have the shape of a witch's hat and are a fiery witch green color with yellow flame-like patterns. They are very spicy when eaten raw. Classification: Alchemy and Cooking Ingredient. Side Note: Due to their shape they are also called Witch Hat Shrooms.
Skeeter Shrubs: These shrubs grow in patches underneath the umbrella-like cover of Desparu Trees. Their leaves are blackish green and pointy like conifers. Their pin pricks are very itchy.
Skunkweed Reeds are tall fluffy reeds that grow in the colors, pattern, and shape of a skunk tail. When damaged this skunk tail flora releases a repulsive scent of rotten eggs, spoiled citrus, and vinegar that most predators, especially those with a strong sense of smell, avoid like the plague. Classification: Alchemy Ingredient... but good luck harvesting without getting sprayed.
Banshi Flowers: They have long flowing ghostly petals that form a robe while spiln hair grows from the round head-like bulb on top giving the appearance of a banshee. These flowers will release a painfully high pitched wailing scream when damaged.
Wynbella Tulips: These icy bell-shaped tulips grow in snowy and icy climates. They may be added to drinks to keep them cold and provide one with a small bit of cold resistance when consumed. They have a sweet ice berry taste. They can be grown in cold greenhouses.
Araken Flora: This dark spidery weedy flower has prickly thistles and while quite scary looking is actually quite helpful in that its bites consume the dark nature of curses and the corruption of miasma. But one must be careful for when an Araken Flora consumes enough of said essences it will evolve into a sentient curse weaving Arakaini plant beast.
The Briar Bloodrose is a unique and beautiful looking flower that carries a sweet scent with a hint of blood. The Bloodrose flower is named such because of the wetness on its petals which combined with its blood hued color gives it the appearance of a bleeding rose. These Bloodroses grow on dark evergreen branching vines. Small clusters of unruly tendrils with long needle-like thorns spill out from beneath the Bloodrose giving the flower the appearance of having spidery legs. The Briar Bloodrose does drink the blood of those cut by its thorny defense helping it to stay healthy.

The meadow is surrounded on three sides by forests and one side by a cliff with a beautiful flowing waterfall. To the north lies Havenscent Cliffs. To the East lies Makai Forest. To the West like Tuttle Forest. And to the South lies Desparu Swamp Forest.
The Desparu Swamp Forest is the only swamplands in Havenscent Meadows and is named after the willowy Desparu Tree that flourishes within. Many flora and fauna unique to this area can be found within, some of which are beneficial for Alchemy and Cooking professions. The Desparu Swamp Forest holds a wealth spring of resources for those with adventurous hearts and knowledgable minds but it's also a murky deathbed for the careless.
So this story is treated as something cute, and lighthearted, and while it does feature that, it's overshadowed by a myriad of other things.
The story itself moves with the outstanding pace of continental drifting. It takes 8 chapters just to get into the game world itself, which wasn't too bad, but that what just the tip of the iceberg. Almost entirely of Book 1 is just the starting area, and it isn't till around chapter 50, of a 68 chapter book, that Wylla finally leaves the starter area.
Now let's talk about the characters. Michael, or Wylla as he soon becomes known as, starts as a normal 16-year-old boy, albeit rather tall, standing at a height of 6'3. Now a little before the story, Michael had a girlfriend, who ends up NTRing him with his supposed friend he had met a year earlier and defended from bullies. This friend was a pretty boy, a trap essentially, and Michael wants to be like him, pretty that is.
Now Michael, and his whole family, and some of his friends, end up winning special spots into the worlds first VRMMORPG. I found it a little odd that his entire family and some of his friends managed to all get in, but it's not that important. So later on, when he's talking to his buddies, getting ready to head on in, he calls the owner of the gaming company, a company called Goddess Lokani Entertainment, Narcissistic for putting the word Goddess on their company, and it just so happens that the owner is an actual goddess, so I think you can see where this heading.
The Goddess, being so incredibly hurt by a mere mortal calling her narcissistic, decides to screw with his experience a little, or rather a lot, and straight gender bends and age regressions him. Doesn't even get to design his character. Now you might be thinking, how bad could it be? Lots of people change their gender and age in video games, not like it affects him mentally. Well, you'd be wrong about that, as not only is he screwed with physically, but mentally too. It gets worse because, in the end, when Michael finally wakes up, it turns out that his real body is no longer quite there, and Wylla is all that is left. He then goes to confront the Goddess, and predictably, things go not great for poor Michael. She pulls a Terms of Service on him, proceeds to toy with him, then sends him on a quest to go find what is basically the holy grail, which even if he does find it, I don't really think any of his problems are gonna be solved.
Now let's talk about the Goddess. If I had to sum her up in a few words, it would a manipulative, narcissistic, amoral, evil bitch, who has essentially killed Michael through identity death, and forced all these changes and problems on Michael, because some mortal offhandedly called her narcissistic, which she is. Poor her.
I enjoy cute stories with loli's, their fun reads. But I don't think I would quite call this a cute story.
These are just some of the problems. There is also the over s*xualizing of a 10-year-old, the fact that he accepts the gender-bending with the ease of breathing, and the extreme drawing out of scenes, but I don't want to write too much, and typing reviews on an IPAD is a pain.
Not the worst story, but not that great.

Alright I'm not good at this but here goes... The beginning is boring as hell and it took too long to get the story going. It should only take a maximum of like 5 chapters at most to get through all the prologue and explanations, I legit skipped like 90% of the chapters up till he gets into the game before I started enjoying this. You have a great thing going and you certainly drawn me in at first glance but then all the boring "Real Life" Dialogue and all hype dropped.

I found this story while looking for some isekai to read. I'm sure others with more patience than me will definitely like it. The beginning is a bit slow to start, as it takes him 8 full chapters to start getting into the game world. It's supposed to be some sort of fluffy fantasy adventure but honestly the goddess character is just too unlikable for me. Main character offhandedly mentions her, so she decides to lock him in a fantasy world as a girl so he cant log out, while playing off of something that really hurt him badly? And it affects his brain as well from what I gather. From what's implied she also decided to punish his family, his friends, and his family's friends as well? And the story treats as a "teehee it's just a prank bro" moment. I'm sure she'll never get her comeuppance at all, as most of these stories unfortunately. Shame. The premise was so interesting but I just cant get over how the mood of the story seems anything but fluffy or funny so far. I'm sure I'm the only one thinking that way though.

This story is what I would classify as "good, mostly clean, fun." (95% clean, as opposed to Disney's 99.5%) I personally found it enjoyable, though it does definitely get long at times. (And overdoses on fluffy bees... wait... oops) Several of the other reviews complain about the story dragging (dragon-ing?) along. To that I must respond: "Pay attention to Genre tags! If you hate 'Slice of Life' you will not like this story." That said, any time author gives any type of projected time frame, expect it to take three times longer than specified.

This is a cute and fluffy video game/isekai type story that warms your heart and providing a lot of engagement for the reader.
There are some RPG elements, and some world building and game design, but it's not overbearing.
The story isn't a self-insertion (I don't think the Author imagines themself as a cute fae/dryad, but it does have a few powerup moments that make it fun.
I recommend this to all fans of GB and Isekai.
Note there is some dysphoria, and the MC is very obviously an egg who has yet to crack.

Edit: It's been two years since the last update, and I fear the author was a victim of the Virus that killed so many. I hope and pray that this is not so, but they had such passion for this project I can't imagine they outright abandoned it.

If you're looking for a story with a lot of fluff and cuteness, this is for you. Storymask is very good at descriptions and paints the scenes and characters in great detail, which only adds to the cuteness and fluffiness.
The story itself started off enjoyable for me and I even took part in the comments and made my own side story. However, the pacing slows down the farther along you get. I feel this is mostly because the author spends much of the prose on descriptions and actions of the characters at the expense of moving the plot forward. As I don't care so much about cuteness and fluff, I found myself just skimming through the last chapters as I got more and more bored. You could skip chapters 50 to 59, maybe to 61, and all you'd miss is the MC getting more "OP" and "rare" abilities and adding to their collection of cute animals.
The characters:
Michael/Wylla seems to suffer the most from the "cuteness" factor of the book. They claim that they are a man on the inside and want to return to their male body, then for the next fifteen chapters acts like a cute girl in a stuffed animal shop picking what adorable animal she wants to buy next. At first it seemed like he had a spell cast on him to make him act more like a girl, but that seemed to wear off after the first day. Maybe the spell is still there but I don't recall reading anything to suggest that Michael/Wylla was under one, especially because once in a blue moon Michael reasserts he wants to return to his male body.
The Goddess was my favorite character. I loved how much of a troll she is and will probably read the sequel so I can see more of what she is up to. I think she is also one of the key factors to the overall plot, so the fact that you stop seeing her in the latter half of the story is probably part of the reason it stalls.
Overall, if you like cute and fluff, you will love this story. If you want plot and genderbend but don't like the cute or fluff, I still think it's worth reading, though you might want to skip a few chapters near the end.

If you can get past the VERY slow pace this is a rather good story. Granted I skipped like the first 6 chapters but still...

I'm just gonna write my thoughts about this book. It's interesting and fun when she got in the game, but the author drags the story out to long and it makes the reading of the story become a little boring. It would be better if the author updated more, because than you don't have to wait for long and it wouldn't matter if she drags the story out to long. But the author has a personal life so he/she can decide the best time for his/her self when to update... I do definitely recommend it. And I'm going to keep reading it because even if the book sometimes becomes a little boring I expect great things of it... And most definitely fun things to happen..?
