"You may now kiss the bride."
But no kiss ever came.
I'm ripped from my wedding and thrown into a medieval fantasy world with game-like elements. It may seem like a game, but that doesn't matter to me, because this is my reality. The pain, the hunger, the cold, the fear, it's all real to me.
Alone, without knowing why I'm here, in a world where I know nothing and nobody, I decide to buy a Blood Slave to have someone I can trust. She brings me comfort and so much more. She helps me raise my head high again and bravely move forward. Together, we'll grow stronger. Together, we're unbreakable. But she won't be the only one by my side. We need more than just each other, for I know that my purpose in this world can't be accomplished with only her help.
Monsters and dungeons plague the land, forcing civilization to protect themselves from the hordes with tall walls and fierce determination. Killing monsters is a daily need, but they aren't the only enemy here. I have a powerful "Gift" that allows me to change my "skill points" at will, but if others were to know about it, there would be many that would try to use me by any means possible.
Step by step, moment by moment, day by day, we keep moving forward, always aiming to improve our strength. One day, we'll meet our Fate, and we'll be ready for it. Swords held high, shields tightly strapped to our arms, wings spread apart, spells at the tip of our tongues, minds focused like blades, and our hearts hardened like steel. We'll take on whatever comes our way!

*Additional Tags*: Psychological, Romance, Magic, Male Lead, Portal Fantasy/Isekai/Transmigration, Polygamy, Slaves
*Content Warning*: gore, profanity, sexual content (male/female, female/female, and human/non-human (*not for the faint of heart*)), traumatizing content
*What to expect*: Slow story focused on the day-to-day life of a transmigrated man rather than on the plot.
The plot exists but it *very slowly* becomes relevant.
Also, *slow* character progress. It's a long journey, so don't expect a hero to grow in just a few chapters.
Detailed environments and extensive world-building.
Realistic and tactical combat instead of flashy.
Protagonist with a cheat but far from overpowered.
*Lots* of descriptive sex scenes, it is treated as just another part of life instead of merely fan-service.
A harem where the members actually enjoy living with each other.
Occasional weird wording and grammar, English isn't my first language.
This story is also on Royal Road (*most of the sexual content is censored*), Novel Updates, Hentai Foundry, Webnovel, MoonQuill, Archive of Our Own, and Literotica.
Look, normally I would never consider doing something like making an account, much less writing a review.
Getting involved with any community like this is something I am far too slothful for. I preferred festering in the dark while drinking in the degeneracy one chapter at a time, like many of my other brethren.
For me that is just testament to this fictions greatness, and the sheer enjoyment I get from reading it.
I am by no means a littérateur, and Slave Harem has always been a guilty pleasure of mine, despite being a chore to read at times, so I may be a little biased. But I believe this novel perfectly encapsulates everything I enjoyed about that series, as well as combining many other great elements I enjoy from web/light novels.
In summary it's great read it.
Go read it now if I've convinced you with just this instead of continuing, because this is going to be more of an essay than review, like I think I've put more effort into this than any of my assignments. Heretics stay behind, class ain't dismissed, you can suffer through the first review I've ever written until you are convinced.
Just to list some things I love off the top of my head:
Ok what? You want an apology? Is that why you're still here? It's been 650 words. I A P O L O G I S E F O R M Y T R A N S G R E T I O N S Now go, you are free men.
Also pet peeve: Unlike the blurb states, the MC would definitely fall under the OP category (which normally is bad in my OP), in a particular sense. He can do things no one else can, which gives him an insane edge. So no mass genocide and razing mountains with a single swing, but people would still kill to have what he has.
Look, if you've managed to read up to this point, congratulations and thanks for listening to my rambles. Here have a cookie. Also if I've pissed off anyone somehow then sorry this is all my opinion and I respect everyone has their own.
I hope this author keeps producing more amazing stuff, and gets the views and support he deserves.
Like if he published Rupegia I'd buy it in a heartbeat, as long as the cover art ain't cringey, like Blackthornes, I mean no offence but my god. I love the art from Mana Manasong currently has going, it makes me think 'Rupegia', whatever that means.
If you like Ace_Arriande's stuff or 'My Sister The Villainess' or any others as great as them, I think you'll love this. Also if you haven't read the stuff I just listed do it, it's amazing, what are you doing you madman.
Now excuse me, I need to go apologise to the world.

Good story in my opinion, only have a little bit of things that's not really my taste and maybe can also make you hate the story.
If you hate degenerate and perverted MC (Like, forcing his some of his girls become lesbian, have s*x with a fox, and doesn't have any shame at all), then I strongly advice you to not read and stay away from this novel, as I'm sure you would hate it as things like that become common in this story. The Author even say it himself.
Not trying to bad-mouth the novel. I honestly quite like the story and how the MC trying to learn many magic skills.
And I honestly fine with how some of the girls like each other, like Roxanne and Hana. But... when he try to force, no, not just try, but he literally force Ciel to be a lesbian, just to fulfill his desires it's become such a turn off for me, and yet, the worst part is, when he actually thinks the girl desires that herself (like, the girl want to be lesbian by herself). Like, how can he even know how she feels? He know the girl love him and would feel bad when she did "that" with other girls, but he still try to force her. Isn't that just selfish?
Well, it's good novel if you can ignore that part.

I don’t even know where to begin with this... It is a hot mess. Some chapters are frankly fantastic but here we are 524 installments over the course of nearly half a decade and we still have no idea why our protagonist is here, how he got here, who was he brought here to fight, and a near constant repetitive monologue about how the MC is “not gay”, every woman wants to f**k him, because he is a “stud” yet seemingly requires the constant use a magic to get them in the mood. Seriously we are up to magical s*x stare, magic remote s*x touch, magic cum, body morphing magic s*x limbs. To follow this up apparently our MC is also terrified of being cucked, but also wants to display his essentially magically s*x addicted harem all over the place, who are also under a limited form of mind control, while lusting after everyone else’s wife. Everything in this story in some way involves the MC not getting anything done because he spends 26 hours a day not being gay, while getting weird boners from traps, while worried all the time about getting cucked, despite seemingly the entire population of the world male and female desperately trying to suck him off. You might be thinking beefy why are still reading this? Well about every 20-30 chapters (or about every 6 months) our author switches it up from endless repetitive s*x while endlessly repetitively talking about food/clothes/brushing the girls hair to introducing some plot element. The actual chapters that battles happen are pretty decent. When the author actually does something to advance the story it is great, the issue is he spends 10 chapters explaining how he made some weapon or develops a skill, said skill gets used for one chapter and then it is 10 chapters explaining how the new completely novel invention gets invented to pass the next completely impossible situation. If the author could just stop spending so much time over explaining everything, cut out the completely repetitive to the point of just skipping s*x scenes, and actually started advancing the story it would be so much better.

thanks for the warning below, the stories with harem are not so good, because they are usually not done correctly and a harem in which everyone has a relationship with each other is no longer a harem, so I can already imagine the mess of everything

This is my favorite.
I really enjoy this story, I tried to binge read it a couple of times, but it's tough because it's hot as f*ck and I don't have godly stamina like the MC.. The harem is great: 100% loyalty, and the MC never gets wimpy and asks "am I a bad guy for not letting my girlfriends sleep with other men" (why are so many other MCs cucks?) ; their characters are unique and interesting; the world feels alive, it's not one of those fics that has the world constantly changing to distract/push the MC to do stuff, it feels like something that he's there to experience, and the coincidence that does happen is subtle enough for me to not notice.
I enjoy reading it whenever it updates, the bite sized (but not small) pieces are as excellent as reading it all in one go.

It's started out readable even though the MC is unlikable. He has zero backbone, mentally unstable (not the good kind), is stupid even though he apparently studied robotics, and is a pervert (not the good kind). I thought he would eventually grow up at least a little but he never really did. The MC would be literally nothing without his harem, which isn't good even if the story is mostly about the harem. Even if he has a cheat he's basically useless in any battle that actually matters and his harem members literally carry when he faints after any important battle. If you gave his cheat to any of the other harem members they'd be a demigod, but with it MC can't even keep up with his harem members. The MC is so unlikable, useless, and coward that the rest of the story is just entertaining. The story is extremely slow and whatever plot there was, was pretty much scrapped for more s*x and perversion later on. I actually love reading stories where they actually talk about characters having s*x because it makes the story more real but this story is just a boring p*rn book. I've read and enjoyed slow story's before but this one just isn't enjoyable after awhile. The only good thing about this story is it's length and I'd only advise you to read it if you just want to read something long without caring about the quality. Find something else because this story is a upsetting waste of time.

Gave up - the MC is not likeable and in so many different situations just does really dumb things. The s*x, and there is a LOT of it, is repetitive and transactional, and replaces normal character interaction - the characters of the harem don't talk to each other unless "part a" is currently being inserted into "slot b" and by now (chapter 166) the s*x is as exciting as an IKEA instruction manual. The author uses plot armour a lot, so just expect things to go exceptionally well for the MC "just because". Will give this 2 stars not 1 because the plot, when you can find it, is okay and the world building has merit - even if the author then has the MC able to ignore the "rules" when convenient.

Actually this novel is quite good in beginning, the system the gods are explained very well world building is good and harem members have quite the depth but I am dropping due to s*x scenes, I am man of culture so I enjoy them but author takes it whole level, MC has a female fox beastkin in his harem and she has a skill to transform into fox so MC f**ks her in fox form, he has a pet female dragon well what do you know he got the title dragon f**ker this I can understand a little they have live and death bond but the way some harem members act towards other men borderlines ntr at one instance a man has a crush on his harem member and confesses and actually kiss her but fMC only slaps him and MC watches this from shadows but the biggest no no for me were two potential harem member who were quite nice and sweet from mc's pov but when we get their pov we see both of them are whores who liked to get gangbanged the starting 25-28 chapters are quite good and each chapter has more than 5k words this would be one of best rpg/system novels but author spoiled it due to his fetishes (?) and horrible smut and s*x scens

I feel that despite there being a lot of reviews for this novel there is no proper objective evaluation for it. I have rated this 5 stars, but that does not mean I think it's the perfect story or anything. In fact, it has quite a lot of problems. Nevertheless, I believe it deserves this rating.
To clarify something from the start: this is not a story with some smut, this is smut with some story. Yes, it's mostly about the porn, what makes it special is that the story part happens to be really good.
The characters have actual personalities with their own thoughts and issues, likes and dislikes. The MC is also not just a plot device to acquire all the power and harems. For once the main character reacts to being isekaid in a realistic manner: by having a mental breakdown and turning to a vice to deal with his new reality (s*x in this case).
The plot itself is good, not spectacular, but good. However, the place where this story shines brightest is in its world-building. The races, the cities, their culture and habits, their gods and religion, the different otherwordly common sense, the different laws of physics, the political structure and maneuvering, the intricacies of the magic system, the history, every single one of these things is exquisitely well crafted and combine to create a world that feels alive and realistic and big. I actually dare to compare it to the famous worlds crafted by legends like Tolkien. I can not stress just how much values this adds to the whole story, and this by itself is enough to make it a must-read. Even now I find it hard to believe that the best crafted world I've found in a web novel is actually in a p*rn novel.
Now onto the smut part. This is where the problems start to appear for most people, and there are good reasons for it. Now don't get me wrong, the smut is very well written by an author who clearly enjoys writing it. The problem is in the fetishes... yeah, there's some hardcore stuff in there that quite a few won't enjoy and I find myself included in them. It starts off rather tame and you'll probably like it at first. Then it goes into bestiality, pedophilia, rape, mind break, incest of all kinds and family orgies, swinging, monsters, tentacles... you get the point. I'm fine with some of those, but not all and many will likely feel the same.
What I want to set straight though because a few other reviews have given a mistaken impression is that the MC is never involved in rape, either as the perpetrator or the victim and none of the harem members are forced. Ciel, who many have complained about is actually
just playing the saint. She is in fact a pedophile looking after children at an orphanage and by far the biggest degenerate in the MC's harem and that's saying something.
To finish this up, there are far too many good things in this novel to pass it up even if it has a few hiccups. This isn't just worth reading, it is a must read.

Pretty realist take on an isekai, getting suddenly pulled out of your world and sent into one that objectively worsens your life would f**k with anyone's mind.
MC starts out depressed and fearful and slowly grows into someone better. The keyword being slow since the story's pacing is very slow as the author spends most of the time writing details and telling about the daily life of the MC. I mean, literally every day. The only timeskip is near the beginning that jumps two days.
The focus is on slice-of-life, fluff, character interactions, s*x, and love between the MC and the harem members (and a lot of "love" between the girls themselves) interweaved with lots of adventuring, world-building, combat, and some plot.
The second arc (Escort through the High Forest) has too much s*x, but the next arc fixes it.
