Your novel itself suffers from stiff dialogue, poor quality of writing and an inconsistent tone and mood, though that isn't the biggest issue with it surprisingly.
Having incest as a plot point in your novel is one thing and has been done well before, such as in Game of Thrones. But to outright go out of your way in your most recent Author's Commentary to say that incest should be fine so long as two people consent is not only promoting such a vile act but also outright predatory. To further argue that 'the government is faulty' for punishing such acts is an argument that is simply strange on so many levels.
