Rain was falling steadily the evening Atlas, the up-and-coming local baseball superstar, went to pick up his books before his second semester at university. He crosses paths with a young woman named Lena, a newly enrolled first year medical student with a smudged past. The two barely acknowledge each other but that is all changed when they are suddenly thrust into an unfamiliar room.
An empty room with no lights, no books, and nobody else but them. Swift to discover they are in a new world, one that closely resembles their own, though it is far more mystical than anything they have ever experienced. They now struggle to adapt in this alternate reality: The world at the end of all things, forced upon them by the mysterious black room, simply referred to as 'the Nexus'. The duo must uncover the underlying mystery of the Nexus while also finding purpose in this broken world. One filled with dangerous monsters, magic stones, and many other surprises.

Notes to the audience:
* The cover image is not mine. It is just a placeholder that I thought fit for one of the characters.
* Will try to update frequently, I work full-time and this is just a hobby. Thank you for understanding.
* This story is a work-in-progress! Consider anything I post on this page to be a draft that is subject to change entirely. Things, characters, and events may be removed at any given time but the affected parts will be re-posted as 'updated' when applicable for a limited time. This should not happen often, but I am learning a great many things as I progress, and so I may try to elevate the quality of earlier chapters if I deem it necessary.
** For those nervous about the Content Warning you can expect themes like: Violence, PTSD, suggestive material, cursing, and some controversial moral topics.
** This story will likely become a long running series, I have become passionately involved in telling this story more and more as I have progressed. I hope that you all will stick around until I complete it. Thank you very much for supporting my work!
