The Doctor has traveled through space and time, saving planets and species alike however, in his wake lies a trail of devastation and grief. Many years ago he left a child behind in shame, as he'd only taken her to see the wonders of the universe because he was vein and wanted to be adored. What the time traveler hadn't realised however, was that he'd created a legacy, one of whom is determined to find him again.

This story focuses on the dark and brutal side of the Whoniverse, seen through the eyes of Erin Swann, a leading officer at the Torchwood Institute.
